That's why you need grapha's fusion he changes the effects of spell and traps, also dark world brainwashing is a must as it negates monster effects as long as there is a dark world monster on either field.
@@lady_peri_of_nohrya for my darkworld deck I always draw until I have what I need which consists of dark world brainwashing and one copy if royal decree which negates my brainwashing but it stops me from being evenly matched and completely shuts down labrynth
That first player got baited so hard, using his only omni negate on the first thing you tried to do, then only to get evenly matched for his entire board! lol
My first deck I ever created was a Monarch deck It ran 55 cards and consisted of every monarch variant including the mega versions. I typically ran 3-2 of every spell, and added 3 of light and dark squires. Had to buy 3 of the structure decks and collect the rest online. I rarely ever lost a match with that deck, always had faith in it. Drew the cards I needed when I ran it. Made a good bunch of friends with it at locals as well. Unfortunately, I one day sold them for more exciting cards archetypes. One of the worst mistakes I ever made. But this game allowed me to rebuild it. It was one of the first in the solo mode. Not only were the cards given a special mode but a special theme as well. Gave me a nice breath of nostalgia. Gotta love Konami. Well that’s enough writing, Great vid btw, keep up the good work.
@@under.my.bridge1287 Mithra gives you an extra normal summon, and doesn't take up your normal summon anyway, so you xan basically get a Mega Monarch on the field instantly if you play your cards right
I love my Monarch deck it has every monarch but bricks in the strangest way. Sometimes there won’t be a monarch in sight! Like how out of like 17 monarch’s I don’t draw a single one and use Pantheism and still don’t draw one out of 45 cards. Always happens about every 10 duels.
I have no idea why this Light Dragon (?) Monster that can steal an opponent monster is in the deck. Yeah, its easy to search due to the statline and take away one of their blockers, but it eats up your normal summon which you really need. The Thunder Vassal is much better. It can provide you with tribute fodder thats not killing your turn by being negated by Ash or Imperm. Im also not a fan of Escalation of the Monarchs. Its niche is occupied by The Heavenly Monarch and feels pretty heavy most of the time. Yeah, its Spell Speed 2 and all, but Monarchs is essentially a Floodgate deck and if you have their archtypal Skill Drain and the Field Spell down you should be fine as long as they stick to the field. I play March of the Monarchs instead for the added protection for my Monarchs bc monster removal is more plentyful, which is problematic bc these Floodgates depends on you having a tribute summoned monster. I am thinking about a way to protect my backline without using a one-time Solemn Judgement.
I would drop 2 copies of Edea and 1 copy of Eidos to add in 3 Mithra. Then I'd remove Escalation (The level 10 Thestalos isn't in the game yet) and Seleglare to make room for 2 Linkslayers. Also, would highly recommend March of the Monarchs for some targeting and destruction protection. Otherwise, pretty good deck. I will always be fond of Monarchs, and I hope we get to see some more level 10 Monarchs in the future from Konami.
There is a trophy on the console version of master duel were you need to tribute summon 20 times and i did it with monarch deck it was fun considering that i didn't play the deck so much before
I use Kashtira engine since Orge has 2800/1000, which match the search of monarch spell, they're free spec sum with their spell/trap Also Fenrir, Unicorn and Orge has diff attributes, so you can add other monarchs to tribute.
I'm playing a Dark world deck and I put 3 solemn judgment in my deck. Because u drawing alot of cards. Solemn judgment is a good trap card to have. Great video bro.
This was my favorite above all deck but i see myself too much closed in the gamplay, when people are summoning 10 monsters, it demands too much effort to wipe board then create your board, most of the time i pop the fiend of vanity etc and hope to survive.. i play bystial despia and it feels like a better version of monarch
I dont think you understand what a monarch deck is ! True Draco's are monarchs, Qli are monarch every card that is 2400 or 2800 atk and 1000 def is monarch :D
1st match is literally typical dark world player comboing for 10 mins and go thru half the extra deck only to achieve 1/3 of what adamancipator can achieve in 10 summons
Don't listen to the advice about getting rid of escalation of the monarchs. You need it with the way yugioh is going fast pace and you need it to as counter play on your opponent's turn.
This is why I can't play Yugioh anymore, just too much goes into one turn, that you have to sit there for like an hour, you can watch about half of a movie before your turn comes. It's also just not fun anymore, to me at least, there's nothing fun about all this set up and comboing it feels like mindless repetition I preferred the game when you had to think on the fly, maybe that's how it is to other people now but to me all this setting up feels so robotic you could have a pair of robots play this game and you'd get the same result.
