Monarch Lathe Restoration - Part 16: Grinding and putting Turcite on a Cross Slide 

As we prepare the cross slide for scraping, I first take it to the surface grinder to get the top and bottom surfaces flat and parallel and then apply turcite (rulon) to the bottom using epoxy. This is part of the restoration of my Monarch Model K 16" metal lathe.
