Monarch MKIII | Review in ONE minute 

Finally a useful video. I vastly prefer these quick reviews vs a 2 hour sound demo that becomes a slog after 8mins. Thanks for the insight Dan. I’ll keep my Monarch MKII.

Let's hope Thieaudio doesn't stop production of Monarch MK2 after releasing MK3..

I used to own the Monarch Mk2 and in comparison to the Mk3 I find the Mk3 vocals to be pushed back not in a bad way as it made the vocals less offensive as the Mk2 forward vocals can be sharp for me at times. Mid bass quantity is increased on the Mk3 giving it a thicker sound whereas the Mk2 mids can sound thin at times. Mk3 treble may be elevated based on the graph but because of the elevated bass it kind of balances it out, treble did not sound harsh during my 20minutes demo, unlike the Oracle Mk2 and Prestige OG which immediately sounded harsh on first listen. The Mk3 shells are just slightly smaller in width but bigger in depth compared to Mk2, it's still considered a larger sized iem. Overall I feel that all 3 iem of the Monarch series are solid picks each with their own strengths. Good that the price of Mk3 is kept the same as Mk2 so people with a kilobuck budget can compare between the two.

Excellent summary - we need more TLDR; like these as a preface to long reviews, it makes the subsequent review more enjoyable. How would you compare them to the MEST equivalent (MKII or III for the UM)?

Prestige LTD complete all(brighter and wider) Monarch mk3 wider a little than mk2 but mids don’t sound natural Monarch mk2 very balanced and pleasant vocal just little small soundstage than mk3 Audition these 3 recently

Mk1 for the win
