It's the little things that make a difference Like making sure the outside of our care centre is kept clean. A small thing like making sure the grass is cut matters. And the kids are our community will love the Easter.
I’m okish thanks I’ve always been interested in the funeral industry but sadly I lost two children 2007&2008 and more recently my boyfriend February 2023
You make me chuckle Mick. Gotta love a geezer who saz it like it is. Great to see all, those Easter eggs for the local kids. I did a project on the Cost of Dying back in the day when I was a mature student. It allowed me to dispel all the myths and understand what really went on in the death industry. I then went on to research cultural aspects of death across the globe. I visited Varranasi in India that was indeed a culture shock. I still find death a fascinating subject.
I've spent the majority of my working life in this vocation and still every day I can't wait to go to work it's something inside me I can't explain it but it is in my heart
I found your channel completely by chance on youtube ❤🙂 I'm so intrigued and fascinated by what funeral directors do day to day, i agree with you all funeral directors should be more transparent. You seem such a great humble guy 😀🫶👍
It's the same colour as the queen's own Range Rover her favourite colour. If you wach the Queens funeral her Hearse was painted this colour for the funeral. X
One of my loyal, long time customers who spent hundreds of thousands of $ with me said it best. You can shear sheep over and over but you can only skin them once. He wasn’t shy about telling me about my competitors trying to take advantage of him. After he passed, his daughter continued to do business with me until I retired. Thanks for the video Michael
Wow look at all them easter eggs! what a beautiful thing to do :) cant believe people are so thick that they dont believe your a funeral director tell them do one michael sending love to you and Cheryl once again x Also loved the grass cutting credit to the community x
It's amazing so many people support our Easter egg collection every year. And I love cutting the grass. It's all about making the community a better place to live.
Absolutely loved the video, what a top man, great ethics about the business. Love your genuine sincerity and personality. I've been in the business myself and hold exactly the same values. A pleasure to watch. Wishing you all the very best, Sir.
It must be a tough job sometimes, I imagine there are some situations which are really challenging. It’s great that you let us into your world , it’s really interesting, so thank you 🙏
Thanks for the Video. Beautiful building, lovely cars and Private Ambulance. Funeral cars always seem classy I love the Jaguar XJ from 2010 ish it’s beautiful. I think your ambulance is almost a star its own right because we see it often. Maybe it should have its own RU-vid channel lol.
We have a lovely family of funeral directors have looked after our family, for four generations that i know of, here in Somerset/ Devon border country, still a building /carpentery /farming family...Proper country people...
Mike, good evening. Can u show us an up front price list as it’s in pounds at your end. My sister who passed away in 2022, her funeral was 12,000 dollars. Expensive. Her plot was 3,500. Funerals here are getting more expensive.
Haaa brilliant. It's a very big property but it's perfect for up . Some funeral homes as so small there's one in Sheffield with one office a toilet and a Chapel of rest. A old garage what they call a maurtury. I believe all funeral directors should upload their premises
@millrythe100 I truly believe with all that's happened over the last 2 weeks in Hull. Every funeral director in England should upload his premises. The public need to have reassurance in the funeral industry.
Love your funeral home it looks perfect, everything is done to a very high standard which is brilliant. No disrespect meant in this question, you know im a supporter not a hater but i just wondered if there was a reason you wasn't wearing smart clothes to meet the family, everything else is in such high standards im just thinking plain clothes may ruin the look, im only asking as you may have a reason for plain clothing i haven't thought of. X
It's a really brilliant question. The gentleman who we are caring for sat with me about 2 years ago. Making his arrangements I had a sute on obviously and as he was leaving I asked. Has everything been OK for you I hope we met with you're expectations The gentleman said everything has been fine Michael but please do me a favour. Serenely I said Don't have a sute on when my sons visit me in you're Chapel of rest. I want everything casual. And no pomp at all. I kept my promise x
I can't believe somebody would actually say. are you really a funeral director they need to look at your channel, and maybe they can see for themselves. You've done enough video showing around your funeral home and inside the morgue. People are just thick, or they want to do it to try. And get arise from you mate.
Nice to see you back on here Michael. Hope your hand has recovered. It’s a shame that Not a soul has been in contact with me. To get the ball rolling & get you knighted. Which you do seriously deserve Micheal. I thought to myself hopefully I would have received many many letters/emails or even contacted Paula in the office regarding me wanting to do this for you. Listening to your speech regarding costs & what other companies charge. You & I know perfectly well who 2 of them are without blinking an eye. There in it just for £Notes & Nothing else & I bet there’s alot of cutting corners too. Have a good day Michael Cheryl Mr David Emmingham & the team 💙🩷
