I just discovered your channel late last spring. It's what my husband and I watch in the evenings. I grew up on a small family dairy farm here in Wisconsin in the 60's and 70's. Though our farm was on a much smaller scale, I can still relate to so much. I was involved with every aspect of the farm. I appreciate how well done your videos are.....they're filmed and edited beautifully. And I love how well your farm is operated. Everything taken well care of. My 3 and 5 year old grandsons love your videos, too. They especially like all the machinery and harvesting. Thank you for bringing back floods of memories to this old farm girl.

Hi Eric! I had the pleasure of taking care to mix and feed on the dairy farm for friends while they where gone for the weekend. It is definitely harder than it looks, but found it great fun and awesome to learn! Their production didn’t drop, so guess I did a good job 😅. Thanks for your inspiration! Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱

Eric! Glad you took a week off. Sometimes a break is good for the soul. Im in Upstate NY (ADK region) whenever it rains here im always checking your area to see if you guys caught some rain too. Glad you guys didnt get washed out like some of the farms in our region. I drive past the Marks' farm in lewis county on the daily. I appreciate you and what your family does.

Only Big Ag throws away stuff they're not currently using, they have the funds to buy new stuff whenever they like. Family farming, EVERYTHING gets reused & recycled until its no longer of any use at all whatsoever.

I never did do any dairy work, but I've had cattle for most of 40 years and I know you can keep busy with cattle and more than double that with a dairy. I think you guys do a great job and a real task every day keeping it going, your dad earned his vacation, I hope they had a good time. You did great, keep up the good work and have a good week!

What a marvelous feeing for your Parents Eric knowing all is well with you keeping the home fires burning! They can absolutely shower Alaska with some Pennsylvania hospitality! I'm betting Caleb would love working for you all full time and he seemed like a Big Help! As always it's awesome that you take the time to explain what is going on. Crazy just how much actually goes on behind the camera as in keeping records of shots, different menu's of feed, wellness of your animals and of course the constant maintenance that is needed on a farm! A ton more than just dropping a seed in the ground and turning on a tractor to be sure!😉 Thank you Eric for sharing a slice of your life with your Fan Base! Farm kids catch on early about taking care of the business. My parents didn't leave town, but left me to take care of a few milking's when I was about 13. When my Dad was asked who was doing it, he smiled and said that I was. At this point, his Dad knows that all will be well when he gets home, rested and ready for the corn chopping and fall work. 👍

@@daveklein2826 I'm not saying to drop everything. Just take a picture next time he is flying his drone and update the banner. Once you have the picture, the update will take less than a minute. It's likely something he isn't thinking about and just a friendly reminder. What would be really cool is to split it with the top half being the original and the bottom being a later state showing progress. I just look at the banner and see the old heifer barn that hasn't been around for 2 years.

A dairy farm is 24-7 365 days a year and two or three times a day. I grew up on a dairy farm years ago, my first vacation was my honeymoon, and I married a city boy so left the farm. I am a widow now and would go back to farm life in a minute if I found a nice old farmer.

Eric, as a number-oriented engineer type, I’m VERY interested in how many man-hours this will save (day, week, month, year) and what the expected milk fat yield will bring with more frequent feedings. Now, if you could just buy one of those round about milkers, things would be good. 😜

Our farm is small only 10 acre’s and neighbor’s is a huge dairy farm 190 acre’s ,we help them quit a bit . Love doing it had fun got along no problem. Your farm Eric is set up awesome. The way you have your feed mill set up and remote control machines helping out with feeding. But have a question your robots have cement tracks okay . But about winter the snow and ice on cement would that cause the reboots to slide off the cement?
