On the classic FF mod question, the steam version of FF9 comes with "cheats" installed from the start. The F keys do things like max gil, max levels on characters, all attacks do 9999 damage toggle etc. The best one though is F1 turns the speed up to insanely fast and you can turn it on and off at any time as much as you want. You can tap that at the start of battles to speed through the battle intro then turn it off, tap it to get through the summons that can take a VERY long time (the Ark summon literally takes two minutes every time you cast it) and they implemented it well so if you're in a part of the game with a time limit on screen, it doesn't speed up the clock as well. I don't know if the other re-releases of the games around that time period have a similar feature.

I am curious how much time we will be given to read job changes. The job action trailer is exciting, but I would rather read the changes/additions/deletions.

#MondayswithMrHappu Hey haps, My question is actually about making healers more engaging. I know you have talked about this every week for about a month but this aspect seems to always be overlooked imo. Its the concept of making the game more engaging for high end healers. Your point of choice based heal or dmg spells is very intresting for more mid players such as myself, but having listened to high end world prog healers, that would not make them more engaged with the job. Once prog is done, that choice will simply be optimized and become part of the constant "healing profile" of a boss. As in as long as mechanics are done correctly, all damage in a fight is completely predictable. Whereas a basic dmg rotation (spell procs or a few dots to manage) would make the moment to moment gamelan more intresting for high end players. But I also know it would raise the floor of the difficulty for healers as a whole. I would like your thought on that issue. #MondaysWithHappyMr Hiya Haps! Hope you and your fur babies are doing splentastically well! My question is one I got from viewing your recent gear video where you talked about alternative ways to get gear. My idea involves around FATEs and making them more relevant throughout the whole game. As we know, FATEs are relatively dead content asides from challenge log, specific achievement FATEs, and post patch level grinding so why not introduce bicolor gemstones as a way to acquire some facet of new gear/progression for a job. While I'm not sure what exactly could be put in those shops, it would surely make FATEs more relevant and provide players with another part of the game to go and interact with to progress.

#MrHappyMonday Hey Happy! How ya doing? Got a real quick question for ya if ya dont mind. Recently I got an aerox9 mouse bc I wanted to learn KMB since my main class (ast) is getting reworked. What im trying to figure out is should i keep trying to learn or not? Right now im having a decent amount of pain in my mouse hand with just left and right clicks for moving the camera. I've cleared p8s on ast before with controller so I'm honestly wondering if I should continue to try to learn and deal with pain or if I should just use controller for my sanity.

FF7 has an awesome voice over mod as well. It legit sounds like an official release.

What advice do you have for someone who struggles to play without looking at my hotbars? I have to do Savage one day and maybe ULTs but im struggling during mech when im looking down.

Last I knew, split clears were pretty uncommon - has that changed, or did I just check in at a weird time? I have an alt so I don't *mind*, I just don't know if this is the new normal. Related, what are the norms for split clear alts? Presumably crafted+penta on tier drop, but how much tome investment is typical?

Personally I think this is a poorly thought out mechanic, allowing one person to hold 23 others basically hostage by failing on purpose. It looks cool, it's thematic as fuck, but damn does it feel bad to fail it. What are your thoughts on it? I’ve noticed a specific person during prog that has cleared all ultimates multiple times but this specific individual every time I’ve been in a group with them in PF it has been a questionable experience. Not sure if they’re trolling, griefing etc. (Ex. Joining as MT although PF states OT, Over mitigating, Sabotaging mechanics, having to switch classes etc) Wanted to ask when it comes to PF how do I avoid them? If I open a PF they can join or and I join another group there’s a chance he can join that one as well. Just trying to Prog and feel like they’re just there to waste time to a degree.

Since we know highly skilled Dragoons, like Estinien and the WoL can pretty much indefinitely keep themselves jumping in the air. Do you think it would be possible to see an exclusive "Dragoon Jump" mount in the future you could unlock at level 50, like how White Mage obtains a Unicorn mount at level 30, if we pester Yoshi-P and the dev team enough? 😅

I don't even think the summoner rework was bad. That would be like saying White Mage is bad because it's simple. They still don't know what to do with Astro cards but playing a new version every expac has been funny and I look forward to the Dawntrail version. FF14 is a game all about being connected to the character over the class and accepting that sometimes a class won't be your favorite is part of that ideology. Collectors Upgrades are Mogstation IIRC

#MondaysWithMrHappy Hello there Mrhappy1227 :3 All the warm wished from Finland. So, I have a question about casual content difficulty, an how "extreme" ties to it specifically. I think it's fair to say that most casual players are still exited to atleast try extreme's and where that sort of "mid-core" content would fall under. Do you think we should have more extreme level content on dungeons or even as like a hidden boss in the open world? As it stands we only ever get extreme level of content in trials and most of those we out-pace in terms of damage quite easily. Additionally older extremes are rarely done synched unless you want the experience, so wouldn't it make sense to have that be standard difficulty for most completely optional content. Be it criterion, or optional dungeons etc.

#mrhappymondays How you doin'? Anyways, I think the devs should improve on the consumable item system in this game. Potions and Stat boosters are great but there needs to be more spice to the system. If the devs added items like pomanders from deep dungeons or spells from Eureka in craftable consumable item form, what is 1 or 2 things you would like to see? I would like to see them add summons, in item form, even if the cooldown is like 20 mins.

Savage release has changed slightly during EW. Savage was delayed a week after normal for EW. Now for Dawntrail, Savage is delayed two weeks??

21:00. there is nothing to manage enochian. it was a button. you drop it you get slapped in the face. now you drop it, it's a slap on the wrist. 23:00 it will be a dungeon on the boat. the mobs comes to you. oh we did that before. 25:30 since we're going to space. housing to the moon. 35:00 if you want shinies. most of final anima looks best. if you want nice matte designs. one of the resistance or manderville stages. a seperate 5678 dungeon? probably not. it's there for people to clear. there is not much xp. use it for tomes.
