My steering went ridiculously heavy and i noticed that my serpentine belt had come off without damage. I replaced it and it came off again within a few short miles thats when i looked to see what was making it come off and i found my idler pulley was very stiff. I this video i replace the idler pulley and refit the belt. I have driven 13,000 miles since the video and have had no further issues with it, enjoy.

Looks pretty tight, i would of fitted a new belt too. There pretty low price from carparts4less or euro. Have you ever attempted to fit a new condenser to the MK4 Mondeo yet.

I have a problem with my mk4 tdci 2.0 had a few pipes with holes in on my coolant pipe at separate times but within 6 weeks just had full service done and changed coolant after driving 50miles I checked the coolant when I looked around the expansion tank cap there is a white cream around the cap could this be the oil cooler im a bit stuck if anyone has had a similar problem
