I was on the fence w/Orko but eventually passed. I really wanted Teela but it just came at the wrong time, for me. The Sky Sled, awesome, yes but this one is absolutely overpriced. Collectors/fans are going to want a fleet of these but not for $400. They could have also added an alternate head for the "bad guys", like the Origins version.
Still on the fence for this. On Tuesday the 14th there is supposed to be a mondo stream covering this vehicle. Should be interesting to hear what they say. $500 for the full Battleram would have been a day 1 purchase, but 395 USD for just a skysled is painful.
That's cool! I love what they're doing and want them to succeed. Hopefully, the stream will help push a few over the edge to pick this up and support it.
As much as I love the Battle Ram as vehicle and this Sky Sled, I'll pass on it. It's just too much money considered the fact that I'll have to pay for shipping and taxes because I'm no US resident
Inflation will do nothing for this. Wrong timing on Mondo’s part. They should stick to the figures for right now. I don’t collect Mondo figures because of their prices…even back when they started I wouldn’t collect them. Toy companies need to go back to voting for the figures or vehicles fans want to see. Especially at that price point. I’ve cut back on buying so many action figures and they’re on at $20 bucks.
Agreed on the price! I'm a sucker for the way they look on the shelf, though. I can easily pass on the vehicles at that size and price. Although I did purchase the Thundertank from Super7
