Ahhh, glad you liked it. For me selling propagating and selling cuttings is a big part of the hobby. Excel sheets help me so much to keep an overview over my plants and props. Also it is kinda interesting to have all of the "analytics" at the end of the year. This year I have tidied up my excel sheets a little bit more, plant sales are going well so far too .😁

I'm glad it was helpful Tarynn, I like the terminology you used. "teeny-scale" 😂 It's precisely what I'm doing. Although by now I have expanded my sales a little bit. This year's video is even more comprehensive if I do say so myself 🤓

Absolutely! It amazes me how many people are not even able to put a simple "Hello" or any kind of greeting in their messages. Also has being rude helped anyone ever get the plant they wanted ... ??? 😂

Glad it was helpful! I have registered a small business in the meantime. Just to be safe because of taxes and stuff like that & because of this youtube channel of course. I have been able to sell even more plants this year, but due to regulations I have decided to stick to local sales for now. Which luckily works pretty well so far. Even when you do it as a hobby or just sometimes I think it is a great way to get some extra plant money, definetly go for it 💪😊

Thank you very much 💚. I want to film a 2022 version this sunday, a few things have changed since then :) The bubble wrap & boxes I get from work (trash from orders). The shipping cost is paid by the customer and I only write down the cost of the plant. By now I got a business registered and do a lot of things differently.

Oh well I know the pain. I did register a small business here in germany and it is a pain in the a**. Because of the regulations I decided to only sell locally for now. This way I can avoid the need for a plant passport & added fees for packaging and waste tax. It works out quite well, I manage to sell almost all plants I offered the last time. Phytosanitary and shipping fees to ship to other countries must be even more difficult. Because I am selling directly to private people ( in person) I do not need to have inspection of plants. I really try to follow all rules and abide to all regulations but I honestly cannot tell if I am doing everything right. From a financial standpoint it is still profitable for me. Even though I am selling a mix of very common and some uncommon plants. Because everything is so small scale and I do work out of my livingroom it is obviously not a fortune I make. But it is a pretty nice side income. (only if you do not spend more in plants then you sell 😅) . Well at least when you have a small business you can deduct your losses in your taxes 😂.

Danke Christoph, es ist definitiv möglich etwas Geld durch Pflanzenverkauf wieder rein zu bekommen. Wenn man weiß was man tut und wie man richtig Pflanzen vermehrt ist das auch kein Problem. Vielleicht nicht um reich zu werden aber eben um die eigenen Kosten etwas zu senken. Allerdings gilt auch in Deutschland zu beachten, wenn man regelmäßig viele Ableger verkauft gilt das als Handel mit Gewinnabsicht ( auch ohne tatsächlichen Gewinn) und muss als Gewerbe angemeldet werden. Ich habe das inzwischen auch gemacht. Wenn man aber nur gelegentlich seinen Überschuss abgibt, ist das kein Problem. Ich kenne auch niemanden der bisher schon Probleme deshalb bekommen hat. Als ich dieses Video aufgenommen habe, hatte ich noch kein Gewerbe und das ist bis dahin auch alles gut gegangen 😇. Liebe Grüße Kristina
