Best financial decisions: paid off my mortgage in 13 years, zero credit card debt, zero student loans, zero car payments, investing in index funds, didn’t marry the wrong person. Worst financial decision: didn’t start investing sooner
I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
Amazing talk and much love and respect to Jaspreet. Spreading financial knowledge while staying true to your Punjabi identity and religious values. Amazing human being!
Watching from Nairobi, 🇰🇪 . I am an ardent listener of both minority mindset and School of Greatness. I believed that I am going to be wealthy 2 years ago and I am working religiously towards this. Lots of love Lewis & Jaspreet. We don’t take your knowledge sharing for granted.
Both Lewis and Jaspreet were so inspiring in this interview, Especially loved how Jaspreet was forthcoming about his Punjabi roots and sharing the 3 pillars of Sikhism. Took away a lot from this episode!
I admire your dedication to educating your audience. We all aim for financial stability and a better life. Achieving this is possible through wise investments, frugal living, and careful budgeting. I'm grateful that I learned the importance of working hard for financial freedom at a young age.
Unless you’re wealthy you shouldn’t be calling yourself wealthy. There is nothing wrong with saying I will be wealthy, words won’t make you wealthy anyway your actions will.
@@Kroll-2 you are close minded, I am wealthy is fine because you are claiming that you already are and will be. Law of attraction see the secret movie then you can get an insight of how close minded you are.
Thank you both for being so helpful and vulnerable. Most people come on these podcasts saying how much they are the guru of this and that but never talk about the struggle, the ups and downs, the mistakes. Like starting a business and investing is perfect. Thank you for talking about how poverty and institutional systems affect us. This interview was very refreshing. ** new subbie **
Another excellent video and conversation. I recently become a subscriber and have been binge-watching and loving your content. Could you first elaborate on why you choose a Roth 401(k) rather than a business 401(k)? I had always assumed that it was preferable to start with conventional since, as I understood it, there is no true tax benefit until you made over $125,000. Unless you've already talked about it in an other video? Connection?
Everybody who has ever had to clean out the homes of their deceased parents and all the "stuff" that ended up in the garbage knows where it will eventually wind up, therefore we don't need any more stuff!
My parents both grew up during the Great Depression, therefore I was raised with their frugal ways. Even though I am a multimillionaire with no debt, I try to wash and reuse plastic bags and reuse aluminum foil. Look at her. It's easy to say that *Layan Talia Chokr* assists with early retirement, planning, and finances.
Layan has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.
I have nothing to say, but i just thankful to both of you for living in this world and for your service because your thoughts changed me a lot. I’m living a new life and a new me by listening to your podcasts every single day. My wish for all of you is to live a healthy and longer life to serves more people in this world. Thank you.
"Can I trust myself, my parents" NOPE. A hard lesson I learned is my parents, specifically my mom, is more concerned about her fears, her anxieties, her understanding, than my success. So I stopped telling her about the risks I'm taking and the supposed problems associated with those risks. You dont need the feedback that's the antithesis of what you're trying to build. Best financial decision I made, starting a business. Worst financial decision I've made as a man, getting married.
La mejor parte fue sentir tu alma al hablar de los niños de la calle vendiendo dulces salió tu sentir y compasión por la humanidad. Dios te bendiga siempre
I am happy to hear from someone who has risen from what many will consider a less than ideal situation or background. Financial literacy is one of the most critical aspects of anyone’s life. It’s not only about how much you make, but the decisions you make with it. Thank you very much for this, inaction is the biggest mistake we can make in life.
Hi Lewis I’m from Tashkent capital of Uzbekistan, and I am very happy that I found your amazing helpful podcasts , pls keep going what you doing, as single mom in USA with 17 years old OSU student daughter, I have some savings 110k but I don’t know what to do with that, because I am foreign and not financially educated, so please ask more questions as u do about how to start 100 k ❤❤❤ And guess what we love you 🥰
Thank you Lewis. You are truly helping improve my mindset, skills and life. I will FOREVER be thankful for you and your mission to share such incredible information. May the great Spirit bless you forever. 🙏🏻🙌
Wow! I grew up in Detroit Michigan and he's dead on everything he said. Wanna look Rich but actually going poor. There's no reason why financial literacy shouldn't be taught in our school's
Mr Lewis Howel i have been listeing to you for very ling time and you have grown into such a great interviewer. I applaud you sir . Great questions and the humans your interviewing are exceptional. Excellent job . ❤❤❤
Lewis. Lewis. Lewis. I just love you and Martha. You both are changing lives I love your podcast. I’ve been watching for awhile. I love that you have really been through it and a lot of folks can relate to it I think you understand that not everyone is going to buy a book or a course. Therefore, you give a lot of golden nuggets for free I also love the way you ask the questions that the viewers want to know. And, you don’t let the guest get away with dancing around the questions; because, they want folks to buy their book or program You are the best. Thanks for being you
Worst thing I have done financially is get a credit csrd; should hsve been saving more. Took me over 6o yrs to finally be almost debt free, just paying off house now. Wish they talk finances and investments in school and parents never taught investments.
Great interview! You don’t need to wait years to get rid of your beliefs . There are techniques and therapies available to identify and clear beliefs. A lot of people don’t even know the beliefs they hold, therefore they can’t clear them. I do a therapy called table for accelerated prosperity that identifies and clears beliefs
I had planned to watch just some few portions of this video but mann😅 it's great and addictive education I'm receiving. This is amazing 🎉,kuddos to you guys 💪
Ladies be aware filter water in all bathrooms and teeth/ mouth salt in the unfiltered water will not stop it. Filtered only to stay safe is my suggestion. On on the mend but it’s been painful; scary and depressing because I new I had solid hygiene habits (almost obsessive).
Best financial decision: Investing in myself through my employer by using available resources, ie tuition reimbursement (MBA and certifications). Worst financial decisions: not saving more and investing sooner.
GREAT CONTENT AS ALWAYS!!!! MANY THANKS!!!! I DID FINE IN LIFE BY WORKING HARD AT WHAT I ENJOYED AND WAS GOOD AT!!!! CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL, HARMED ME. BUT I ALWAYS TRY TO FIND A WAY TO HELP MYSELF!!! SO FAR, I'M OK!!!!
Good idea to get off social media as much as possible unless you're learning from it. It's a big time-waster. Good to know that paying interest is the 3rd highest bill for the US...not fun to hear but need to hear it.
