I love your advice Sharon. I work at one of biggest bank here in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 And my role is Credit Support how to structure application to get it approved from mortgages, loans, line of credits, credit card etc., common mistakes people do they apply for a loan and purpose of the funds is to purchase toys and travels, though I’m not directly talking to clients mainly lenders at the bank nationwide. I’m always honest to them if the purpose of the fund is just for “want” not a need I tell them don’t give it to them. Coming from nothing myself grew up in the Philippines and my mom is a Balot vendor I know the struggles and value of money. I work hard to own my home here in Vancouver and able to travel around the world. As you said you have to respect money and know to spend it wisely. Its really true Sha, that if we really give 10% in our earnings to the Lord, to the church, the Lord will really bless us. In Malachi 3:10 the Lord said, "Bring the whole tithe to the storehouse that there may be food in My house; and prove Me, if you will, by this, says Jehovah of hosts, whether I will open to you the windows of heaven and pour out blessing for you until there is no room for it." I've read the book The Richest Man in Babylon which states the fundamentals of investment and how to make money work for you. Sharon's wisdom is the same as many wise financial advisor would tell you. She's very classy and humble. Every statement was made tastefully. And She's authentic and sincere. Listen to her advise. It's golden. That's her secret on how to accumulate wealth through out the years. Make money work for you. Invest wisely. No matter how small or big your income is if you don't know how to handle money, you'll be poor.
I was happy to hear you talk about tithing. Members of our Church pay tithing as well, which is 10% of our income or increase. Everything we have comes from God and one way we thank Him for our blessings is by paying our tithes and offerings. I truly appreciate everything you shared with us. I will be sharing it as well to my kids so they will be smarter in handling their finances in the future.
