Welcome to the 2nd episode of our Mongolian Food series. Today, we are bringing you to a nomadic dairy “farm" to learn about how herder families survive in the summer on dairy products (meat is eaten more in winter). For many generations Mongolians have made dairy into traditional dishes, cheeses, drinks and more! We will be meeting a nomadic family in northern Mongolia and they will show us how their dairy can be made into a delicious Mongolian BREAKFAST.
Later, we will be trying horseback riding for the first time with semi-wild Mongolian horses!!! And then the family will show us how they milk their cows! All while taking in the INCREDIBLE views of the mountains and Mongolian steppe.
Thank you so much for watching. Leave us a comment and let us know if YOU would travel to MONGOLIA!!! Subscribe to the channel and turn out notifications so you don’t miss the next episode: Mongolia’s most famous & delicious foods of all time!!!
-------------

That was absolutely awesome in so many ways. You've shown the Mongolian lifestyle in a way I've never seen before. I was so impressed by the quality and health of their livestock . They are all so well kept and clean. Yes I would definitely try riding one of their horses . The food all looked so incredibly healthy and fresh. I just loved it so much . Great job guys , can't wait for the next one.

Wow this gets even more interesting! It just shows you how people who live away from the tarnished lives we live can't afford to be picky or have allergies or actually their bodies won't even get food allergies since most their food is purely free-range, organic and mostly natural. Ahhh it is so beautiful to watch

Late reply. Mongolians move around 4 season either following grass growth in summer or less windy areas near mountain at winter to allow the livestocks to be as healthy as they can. Which is why we were nomads c:

I love how they have a traditional lifestyle with a modern twist i.e. the solar panels, computers etc It’s great that they are supplementing their income by opening their homes to folks like yourselves. @slayzet4293
@slayzet4293 3 года назад
@@lulundabirenge2311 i suck at history so my explanation is vague. It should be related to mongolian empire in 1200-1300BE and nomads were all over the asia and our lifestyles carried over far distance and when empire divided, some mongolians stuck to where they are and cant return then they start living there. Which later became tibetian? No idea as i suck at history. Just know some informations and simulating XD. So yeah our ancestors are same but goes with different names i guess

Hard work, but rewarding and peaceful. I'll bet there is zero incidence of clinical depression in that kind of meaningful, low-to-the-ground lifestyle. Our ancestors all lived like this for thousands of years and succeeded marvelously, no matter where we came from. Our very existence proves the great successes of our ancestors. And all that pure, delicious food besides. Right on.

16:03 I was so euphoric when I saw that dog! He's actually a copy of my dog, just bigger 😍 beautiful. Also, those dishes bring water to my mouth 😋 to make it even better, I was actually dining when I found the video 😁

It reminded him the kaymak from Turkey because the original Turkic people were Mongolians. Kaymak is a refined version of that, (Kaymak means top) Like their nomadic ancestors in Mongolia, they do not have much cuisine of their own, but they have adopted the cuisines of the people their conquered. Baklava, and so many other dishes are not Turkish, but Arabic. Recent research showed that especially in certain regions, ,the vast majority of people in Turkey do not have Turkic DNA, or have very little of it. Mongolians are expert horse riders and herders. They conquered the world on these sturdy horses.

Thanks again for another great video. Yes I would indeed ride on a mongolian horse! It´s so important to see some humans in contact with their environment.
