Monhegan is an island in Maine that has attracted artists since the mid 19th century. The images in this short video speak to the reasons this island has been such an artist magnet.
I have visited it only once. It was so lovely. We hiked the entire island and were so sad to leave. Nice people, A one room school, a lighthouse museum and delicious food.
