I didn't expect to be a single mom again at the age of 39 when I had to file for my divorce after 9 years of marriage. But, I unknowingly married a covert narcissist and I had to save myself in order to save my sanity and to properly and fully care for my 4 children. I am now 46, content and about to complete my PhD in Public Policy. God is good and on time, even when you think it's not the time to go through the fire. Be brave and let go, He will catch you. Monica! Stay strong! The good thing is that you have a relationship with God. When no one else understands you, he does. You will be fine. A lot of time when God removes something out of our lives he always replaces it with something better. But use this time to FOCUS on you. LOVE on you. I know you go hard for your kids, as you should. Know that if you DO NOT put that oxygen mask on yourself 1st you will be no good for anyone around you. You have to learn to make you your # 1 priority at all times. A lot of people look up to you and count on you. More so your close inner circle. It’s ok to cry. Let it out your system. Don’t always feel like you have to be SUPERWOMAN all the time. Take time out for Mo. Rather it’s a spa day by yourself. Having lunch by yourself. Reading a good book and drinking tea by yourself. You need that “ME” time or else you will BREAK. Everyone needs that “ME” time. You are a beautiful soul/spirit. What don’t kill you will only make you stronger. I don’t know the details of what went wrong in your relationship. I will say. Let Hod deal with him with no effort on your part. Forgive yourself and him and let go and let God. God knows what you need and what you don’t need. I look forward to great music. At the end of the day God got you. It takes time and you will heal. My ex husband divorced me and called me on the job and told me I was free to go. I was divorced for a year and i did not know it. Every dime i put in that marriage God gave it all back. Trust and know God got you.

Ok! Once again I feel the need to kinda add to what I’ve already stated in a few of my comments. This is for Mo. For some reason, I feel as though God is speaking to me through you. I will say and this is for other ladies out there. I am speaking from experience. Don’t feel like when you meet a man that you have to immediately get married. I’ve been with my significant other for 10+ yrs. We live together. Yes, we’ve discussed marriage. When you and that other person are committed to one another and you decide where you want to go next in your relationship. From experience, I would say live together first because that’s when you really get to see first hand what your dealing with. You get to see the REAL person. You see them when they go to bed. You see them when they wake up. You get to see if this person is lazy. Are they ambitious. What do they do daily? I feel like that will determine rather yah should take yah’s relationship to that next level - marriage. A lot of people rush into marriage because they want that big ring or just want to say that their married without even getting to know that other person. Some people do it for security. If you gone take that route do it for LOVE above anything else. Make sure you and that other person are on the same page. For someone that’s been in a monogamous relationship for quite some time. I can honestly say that COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION is the 🔑. It avoids a lot of unnecessary arguments. Yes, you will have disagreements. Your human. Nothing is perfect. When you’re busy and DISTRACTED you can’t hear the voice of God. Pick up that BIBLE. My great-aunt (May her soul rest in heaven) told me that, that is one of the best books you could ever read. So, I encourage it. Get in touch with your SPIRITUAL SIDE. Do t only call on God when you going through something or he’s blessed you with something. Stay in contact with him on a regular.
