She was a Democrat years ago, having grown up in a family who were active in the party (big donors). But the party has changed so much, I don't know what she would say she identifies with now. But you are correct, I doubt they would choose her as she is not an outspoken GOP party member. She has been in hiding for so many years, I doubt she is political at all now (never really was actually!).
She said in an interview that during the sex scandal investigation her attorneys and the attorneys for the State said she was so well spoken and smart that she should have been a lawyer. I think she is very smart, she was immature and got shit legal advice when the shit hit the fan. I'm glad she came out on top in the long run! (no pun intended)
Always find that a bit of a trope, wasn’t much stable about the US at that time: 9/11, patriot act, Iraq etc. America is always unstable in my view that’s kind of their thing.
If I were Monica, I’d never agree to go on a talk show that Barbara Walters was a co-host on. Let’s not forget how condescending, passive aggressive, and at times ,outwardly rude she was during the first televised interview Monica gave in “99. You can see how uncomfortable Barbara looks knowing that she threw Monica under the bus, just a few years prior.
She really is beautiful. Even back in the day I still thought she was very cute. She had some extra weight and her hair was not the best and it was so unfair that she was ridiculed for it. being fat with bad hair is typical with American women. I guess you should look like a model if you have an affair with a president.
All I can say is the view lost all credibility as a serious show by bringing Monica on. It’s not about being mean. It’s just low to bring her own- her only claim to fame is the presidents mistress. Then to crack those jokes .. just tasteless

I remember watching the impeachment hearing on TV when I was a young woman home on leave from overseas service (culture shock). it was cringy back then, and just got cringier and cringier. and still is cringy, considering how dude's life turned out, after the scandal. and what about her's?
Honestly, I despise her. Yes, Bill was wrong in so many levels that I have no sympathy for him, but how would Monica feel had the actions she committed agaisnt Hillary had been done on her?
