Monica & Mario ages 21 & 15 perform in New York City 2002 (Songs All Eyez on Me & Just a Friend)

Singers Monica and Mario performed in New York City on July 30, 2002 on "The Early Show". Monica performed her song and then current single "All Eyez On Me" which incorporates excerpts of Michael Jackson's hit song "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" from MJ's Thriller album. Mario performed his single "Just a Friend", which is a loose cover of Biz Markie's song of the name. Monica & Mario were also interviewed, along with Clive Davis. The interviewer was Mark McEwen, anchor and weatherman of the CBC morning show "The Early Show".

What a treat! This brings back memories of the good parts of living in Manhattan at that time. It's very cool to see Monica doing this song with a live band, even if she might not have been fully into it. I really enjoyed the single when it was out and felt it was slept on by many fans.

it was leaked, so they removed some songs and added new ones and released it as after the storm

It was played on the radio here in Dallas Texas, but the album was released first in Japan, and they were ahead of the technology curve so they leaked the whole album so they scrapped it and turned it into "after the storm"
