I do like Monica Vinader, but I do think they’re too expensive for the quality :/. I have a few pieces from them, and I haven’t been too impressed with how their latest collections look. I think they increased their prices recently, and some of their pieces are like +150£, which I don’t think is really acceptable for sterling silver or veirmeil…

I know what you mean, I was quite surprised at their pricing! I just presumed it would be similar to brands like Linjer and Mejuri but definitely pricier.

I bought two of their gold vermeil necklaces a couple of years ago and I never wear them. I really dislike the tone of the gold - it's aggressively gold, like orange-y gold, so it doesn't go with any of my other gold jewellery, and I don't think it suits my colouring. Since I can't wear any of my existing gold pendants on the necklaces (which is why I bought them in the first place), I considered buying one of the pearl pendants so I could at least get some wear out of one of the necklaces, but the pearls I saw in store are a bit too big for my taste. I wanted something more delicate. And I don't really want to throw good money after bad. It looks like the silver would have been a better choice. I do like the concept of the removable pearls so you have options for different looks. I think the pearl looks really sweet on your necklace too.

Ah that's a shame. I've never tried their gold vermeil so can't comment on it, I do really like the silver pieces I bought but you could definitely find more affordable and just as high quality options elsewhere, so they wouldn't be my first choice of brand going forward, unless I really like a particular design. Thank you :)

Its beautiful jewelry but it seems like a bunch of overpriced vermeil pieces. I understand its a demi luxury brand and youre paying for the name, but it just seems to be a lot of money for coated sterling or brass. I mean for that kind of money, you can even buy 10k gold and at least itsreal gold.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think it's worth waiting for their sale, so many of their items are 50% off right now which makes it better value.
