Monitor Audio PL 200 3G Review - 2 weeks of playing 

I have the PL100 3G and couldn’t agree with your comments more. With the 100 though I will be getting dual rel subs as when mine are out in the room with a lot of space around them the bass is slightly lacking for me (I’m sure it’s not an issue with your 200s). When mine are closer to the wall the bass improves but the stage depth suffers a bit. They’re truly incredible speakers and very hard to find a fault in their presentation. The AMT tweeter is sooo effortless and natural sounding. Great review 👏🤘😎

Nice review, i wonder what kind og geners you usialy listen to, i understand those speakers have a calm projection or my i say natural projection, but i realy want to know if they can play euro-pop 80s and electronic , dose they make want to move or they are to gentle for that, i my self all arounder geners listener

I own a pair of 300ll and after hearing the 3GS I can tell you the don’t come close to being a betting speaker they have less low level detail and look to be made cheaper,there stabilizing bottom base has less mass,don’t like that they went back to the traditional binding post no covers for the drivers I have pets and small children and love my covers no premium leather just making drivers stronger and heavier doesn’t make for better sound light strong drivers make for better detail just making driver heavier to get more SPL out of them doesn’t mean a improvement over the 300ll I’m keeping my 300ll,your acoustic treatments in your space are infantile at best sorry I can’t trust your opinions about this speaker

and if you want to make them sound even better take those feet off and put the speakers on the Townshend podiums I have the 200 G2 and when I did that a friend of mine was over and we listened to before and after and we just looked at each other and went holy fuck what just happened, it was as if I upgraded my speakers and my electronics to stuff that was much more expensive, The sound stage got wider deeper Even more three-dimensional, the bass got faster tighter more articulate I think if you put the g2's on the podiums and compared to the g3s they'll sound just as good but if you put the g3's on the podiums they'll sound even better and what I'm going to do when my warranty runs out is I'm going to be changing that cheap silver plated OFC wire to OCC single crystal wire I did that with my gold g4's and I got a 10 to 15% improvement right across the board in everything, I told monitor audio to try that and they still won't listen, especially for the platinum range they should be using the best wire that they can get and that definitely is not OFC, OCC single crystal wire is far superior.
