Our wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood must overcome many challenges on his pursuit of the mysterious treasure of Big Whoop while his nemesis LeChuck is trying to catch him to seek revenge. To overcome LeChuck‘s wrath and succeed in his quest to prove himself again as the mighty pirate Guybrush is in need for help of many old and new friends as well as a big portion voodoo magic.

Can we all take a moment to admire Guybrush somehow pulling off a pink dress in those boots. I mean normally on anyone else. It would be a fashion disaster but Guybrush. Man, he pulls it off.

Yep, the actor who was well known to play the police psychiatrist Dr. Silberman in the Terminator movies. He was also in an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, he was the guy from Princeton that visited Bel-Air Academy and let Will into Princeton but not Carlton. Yeah, I especially remember him as LeChuck, (sigh) RIP.

Sequels plural? I thought Escape from Monkey Island was the only one with 3D graphics

@@SitaraAleu Escape from Monkey Island and all the games in the series after it have been with 3D graphics. Including (technically) the Special Edition remakes, which have put a lot of effort into making the game look and behave like a retro adventure game despite being 3D rendered.

I bought this game on ps3 last year only just got to play it just finished first one now on to this one it was great Really good voices in it as well and music plays on my nostalgia for me original back in the day , A nice touch as well be unable to press the sleep button to change it to the old 8 bit style

Love the story of the game, but the game itself is... absolutely terrible. I managed to get through MI-1 without hints but this... they went completely cocaine high with the puzzles. I'd say 70-80% of them are unsolvable for a normal person. While they sort of make sense AFTER you watch the solution (but not all, especially at the end sequence with LeChuck which makes no sense at all), there's no way you can come up with those action/item combos. And with so many options... it'd take years and having no life whatsoever to find a solution to every puzzle, if at all. Great cartoon, but absolutely terrible game. Still love it just like every LA game for characters, animation and stories but damn if they have deranged batshit crazy difficulty.
