"Full of sprawling staircases, bamboo, and questionable architecture." Love that line. As to the game itself, I'm looking forward to it; I love it when my fandoms come together.
First, you remain the absolute best at the how to play video. My wife will not play a game with me that I can not explain in 5 minutes unless you have done a video. Thank you! Second, will you ever do a video about the behind the scenes work you do to get your teaches so clear? You are one man and thousands of board games come out every year, the math does not work--we will have to learn and teach some games without your help. Thanks again.
Ha! If time allows, I'm sure that's something I could cover at some point. I do have some details about that in an older video. The process is a bit different today, but it's not too far off: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mxs6p3tqq6g.html
I'm glad they're utilizing bulding properties in a game that otherwise wouldn't be possible. Regular cubes or tokens wouldn't fit the purpose. Also, I already preordered the game (prior to watching your excellent video) not knowing too much about it, so I'm relieved it isn't just some roll and move type of game. Your video explained the rules thoroughly, as usual, so a brief moment to look up the rules when the game arrives would be enough to start playing. Thanks!
You should have added in some sound effects of Lego rattling around inside a box when you did the boxspin! 😂 Also, "nub"? Is that a game term? I've always heard them referred to as "studs".
It's not listed on the LEGO website (yet) so it's really hard to tell. It's not being sold under the LEGO name but rather Asmodee so it should be in your FLGS?
Did a little digging, unfortunately, I don’t have a full list as it’s a global launch, but it will be available in numerous hobby, book and toy stores, so keep an eye out. You might find you get good info for your location at your local store, or online.
@@WatchItPlayed I asked at my FLGS today. Looks like Asmodee are distributing it in Canada at least. The store I asked in has it ordered, so fingers crossed!!
@WatchItPlayed thank you, I'll keep an eye out for it. I've never really been into Lego but this looks so aesthetically pleasing and seems like a nice casual game 🥰
