MonkeyBread Plug-In for Claris/FileMaker - Part 1 

MBS has best support I have ever seen!!

We are looking into buying this banana software, it is most the terminal stuff made available in FileMaker. Not sure how to make it work PSoS though.

Great job Matt. Love the Monkeybread plugin - worth every penny. The search capabilities alone are worth the price. Kudos to Christian and his team.

MBS is worth every single penny! Christian fixes all the problems, that Claris leaves us with 😀 In the last version he kindly implemented a function, that I had asked him to put in: you can now in- or outdent the highlighted text in the formula editor. e.g. when you use a "let" statement and want to keep things nice and clear.

The MBS Plugin only works on MAC. : My Question: > I have installed the MBS plug in. I have already registered it. But I can't get it to work. Answer: Sorry, but you look for features on Windows, which only exist on MacOS. You could get a Mac or just use the functions for Windows. For Windows we have: * Relationship graph search * Snippets database example and snippet picker hotkey example * 4700 functions for Windows.

Auto-complete of variables in Script Workspace was been AWESOME, especially since 1) spelling mistakes go away and 2) you can now easily use longer descriptive variable names, with no typing performance penalty as auto-complete fills it in.

Love the videos Matt. Rrally appreciate the presentation that even a total beginner can understand. I have one simple question. If I develop an application and have used MB functionality within it, what does that mean when I want to install the application on a clients computer?

Hi Matt. This looks awesome, but I'm not seeing a free version with limited features. At least not in Windows. Just installing the plugin has it running 'demo' mode and clicking the Configure button brings up a form for entering the license. I can see in your video that you are running the plugin in Trial mode, but the Trial License Request page says "If Monkeybread Software decides to send you a license key, the key will be valid for a few weeks and then expire." and "Please remember that you can try all functions without a license key in demo mode." The docs that come with the installer say demo mode will pop up a warning dialog every few minutes and "the plugin can decide to stop working after 2 hours of usage..." Is this "free mode" just an undocumented benefit that sticks around after the trial mode expires?

In the Value List dialog, Cmd-F bring up a search field for value lists using MBS

Is there a script available to take a snapshot using the iMac's internal camera when a record is created or a button is pressed and have that photo stored in the record.

Matt, I'm a huge fan and love your videos. But they are often too long. Just my feedback. Make em 20 mins and I'll watch them all!

This plugin is not useful at all, for people who use windows . Most functions are designed for Mac only.
