to be honest, I really liked this Mech, the figure of Mk is simply incredible and the mech itself is also beautiful

I think the decision for the short legs is that they were going for a chibi anesthetic. Making them longer would have thrown that look off. Agree that it should have had more figures and the cloud bricks need swapping out.

i feel like this set is sort of unfortunate, it doesn’t do much with its price point that other sets can do with less, even for the chinese market that prefers high-quality products to good deals, i could see a lot of kids/families picking up something like the kai/wolf mechs before going for this set

Probably no knees for the stability. It is already top heavy, longer legs might make it even more unstable...

Pretty much yea,I’m tempted to buy this one sometime so I can use it for more dynamic battles and it’s not stupidly top heavy,the best way to describe it is how duckbricks put it”it’s silly and a lot of fun to play with as long as you don’t take it too seriously” and it does have the same quality as the warrior mech and ultramech,my only gripe is once again comparing it to ninjago,it doesn’t want or need to be like it nor follow the build for the legs,it just does it’s own thing and it’s fine,it’s monkie kid not Ninjago

I bought this set right when I came out! I actually really like it! It’s a build I keep looking at and it’s visually nice! Love the MK figure too! I think it’s a “cute” version and not so large like the other ones maybe MK only using a bit of his staffs power haha I’m waiting to get the Evil Macaque Mech so it’ll be cool seeing them “face off”!

I think this set is being judged against the very high standards of this theme. Because, with all its shortcomings I still think it looks great and is good value (because it will be available for less than $50). But, yeah, compared to many other MK sets, especially the mechs, it is quite basic.
