I am running the 3-color version of this deck. Turns out when every creature you play is also a crime, Marchesa does a ton of work. And it feels like a real deck that's being underrated/ignored.

I brewed something similar to this while tinkering with the crime package from a previous video (shout out intimidation campaign). It's a bunch of removal and three steps ahead, with the crime legendaries (sadly intimidation campaign got cut). Kaervek and Marchesa are nutso value, and work well with the 2 mana jayce where you plot them and then you get a turn with tons of mana for crimes and triggers, while still holding removal or counter up. Also feels mid tier, but you can actually tune it to be favored vs aggro (cut down, bat, tiny bones carry that, and I am testing the 0/5 digging crab), which means you can have a decent winrate. It can do a ton of fun stuff with the crime triggers where you have huge crime pop off turns with 1 kaervek trigger generating more crimes repeatedly. Any black card can be pulled back with Kaervek, so it's like drawing extra instances of your bomb cards. The funniest thing though is I put blood pact for black draw to double use with kaervek and to have end step instant, but with Sheoldred on the board it is actually 6 damage instant range that can catch people off guard (and you can proc it from hand or from a crime trigger if in gy). 3 colors with double blue and double black requirements can lead to some unlucky games, but I kept marchesa my only red so it is actually not so bad. Even considering that, she adds a lot of net wrate to the deck since she can easily draw removal while gaining instant speed draws.

Tip against mono red, always save removal for AFTER you pass on block step, sometimes before damage they will cast a rage effect and then you've 2-for-1'ed them on cards :)

40:40 honestly I think you just take the two there, and kill after combat. My thought was they were waiting for removal to see who to buff, though I get that against red stopping all damage possible feels out right necessary.

With tiny bones there is a bug if you give it the ability to trample, although the creature that blocks it has more thougness, it still does damage to the opponent, allowing a permanent to be exiled from the graveyard and being able to be played.

At 39:40, why cut down on your own turn instead of waiting for the opponent to commit additional resources? Also, why not go for the throat instead, keeping the cheaper removel for future turn?

It is always surprising how consistent decks are that shouldn't be consistent.

ooof - I know, no questions. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a hold of mesa falcon guy instead of the Cruelty of CGB. Why no hostile investigator? Commits crimes, has discard synergy, draws cards.

Mono black is what kept me for throwing up when i saw legends deck. New sets are riddled with useless commander chaff to such an extent that was hard to find new cards being playing on latest standard PT. Just had to take this off my chest. Nevertheless we play what is available and CGB's deck is cool.
