I had corrective laser surgery twenty years ago this month and started noticing my left eye’s vision was a little soft. Sure enough, it’s the only eye that needs something. I got a contact yesterday but think I’m going to talk my wife into letting me get a monocle…Nice informative video.
Can't wait to get old. I'll wear the most posh high status attire with the monocle swinging in the light breeze. Must also develop the annoying rich man laugh. MMmYES hohoho
I am old. I'm considering a monocle. Eye dominance? I have learned to change it almost at will (or with a few minutes practice.) I'm going to my ophthalmologist later today and am going to ask him about which eye to use
Hi! Excuse me for this off topic question, but since you've moved to this channel, I thought I should ask my question here. I've had several eyelid infections before and they had al disappeared in like 5 days with the help of hot cloths. Now I'm having another one again, but its been 10 days and I'm not noticing any changes. I use the hot cloth 3 times a day and even went to the doctor and got antibiotic drops. Its not swollen, but I still have that knot, which has a medium size. Do I belong to that group which takes 6 months to a year to heal? Or am I being impatient?:p Thanks a lot for your help and usefull videos, have a great day!
It sounds like you have a knot left behind after the redness of a chalazion has resolved. Yes, when we see this in our patients, it may take an extended period of time to disappear. Surgical removal may be an option. Hope it improves for you!
*Nearsights Monocles for vision* We're very happy to have Jim Berry from Nearsights Monocles join us on A State of Sight to explain the use and value of monocles to improve vision. Often, monocles are used to improve reading vision by people over age 45 who are noticing difficulty from age related focus dysfunction (presbyopia). Other uses for monocles include reversing monovision from LASIK or cataract surgery. This can help optimize both eyes for distance when driving or seeing a movie, or both eyes for near when reading for an extended period of time. Would you consider wearing a monocle?
