I played Clear Sky back in 2010 and havent really played it ever since, I guess I will need to refresh my knowledge about how it exactly ended, anyway thanks for the feedback
@@lambdaspecialist_source of course bud. If I can make a request. Make an updated version of this video with the necessary corrections and make it epic. Awesome music and Monolith slaying infidels. I'll sub
@@lambdaspecialist_source hopefully you can get some free time. No rush either. I want the Stalker franchise to explode in popularity and grow a positive fan base. Trying to write a fan made book about it currently
@@snappleseatapples4198 Stalker anomaly/gamma really made it trending for some time with all the hype from Drewski's videos, we'll see what will happen after Stalker 2
Monolith and sin, i wouldn't say are allies, more like "they accept each other's existence". But if they did fight, sin would get obliterated. And i can't imagine a group of swamp science guys winning with Monilith. I assume you say it because of the clear sky ending, which i interprete a bit differently. The fight itself didn't end normally, but with an emission that almost wiped out CS, while Monolith was left basically unharmed. They did have gauss rifle, but i don't think it was enough to win if the fight prolonged.
@@lambdaspecialist_source they were originally meant to have a way bigger role in game studying zombies anomaly’s psy anomalies primarily and creating theories on psy weapons fallowing the rule of chekovs gun everything in a story has to do something in the story they’ll do something in stalker 2
But monolith never will as they defend their monolith. Also if they really did invade the rest of the zone then I bet that many factions would put aside their differences and fight together. Also Stelok fought the monolith, and won.
Loners are either the worst or the best. There are times where you get a Strelok and times when you get a remarkably incompetent rookie Edit: Also lets be honest. I love Clear Sky, they’re cool but they don’t stand a chance. Also reminded me, we gotta see SSU as a playable faction fr. We already got UNISG
Monolith would solo pretty much everyone aside from the Army if they actually did a full offensive. Between them having lots of high tech gear and training, and the literal backing of the zone itself it’d be difficult to resist them. The main thing preventing this is the fact that they just want to be left alone to worship their nonexistent space rock, not take over the world.
It depends on what you mean by "Army". They make it clear in the trilogy that despite being the Ukrainian military, the Army expedition in the Zone is small, poorly equipped, poorly trained and has low morale compared to the rest of the military outside the Zone, and getting deployed in the Zone is seen as a form of punishment by the grunts. If this hypothetical makes it so it's the *entire* Ukrainian military attacked and not just the small expedition force then the military could solo every faction at once even if they all teamed up just based on sheer numbers alone, Monolith and Sin's only advantage is homefield and having a better understanding of the Zone due to their brainwashing.
mono and sin arn't allies. monolith's goal as a faction is for the zone NOT to expand as its the bidding of c-con (which they work for) sin collects documents (which the monolith would have a large supply of) and want the zone to continue its expansion.
Did he just say no diff to monolith vs bandits and loners? Youve played stalker right? Like one of the main reasons it was hard for anyone to get to the cnpp was because of monolith
@@lambdaspecialist_source i think i misunderstood the video, my dumb ass was assuming no diff meant no difference as in they were basically the same strength. Carry on, im just slow af
I dont understand the video itself. Monolith vs bandits - "No difference" but monolith vs "Duty" - "Big Difference" ? What you mean by that? That bandits are stronger then Duty and equal to Monolith? Weird video. P.S. Duty easily fights Monoliths , so as Military
What do you mean? Now I don't understand you. Its meant as that Monoltih wouldn't have any problem dispatching Bandits, but Duty and also Military is a tougher enemy.
@@duelsensei635 then check out my steam account and check that I played all stalker games for quite long enough - steamcommunity.com/id/lambdaspecialist/
@@lambdaspecialist_source well then we understood wrong. I mean saying "Big Difference" when comparing strenght of two factions is a use of wrong words by my opinion. Thats why i understood you wrong. When you say Monolith vs Military - "Big differnece" it means that monolith wins with ease. Since there is big difference between them and the thing ur comparing to other is Monolith, then that means Monolith easy wins
@Babo49_49 It doesn't particularly matter, the lore still exists, and they made it pretty clear that Sin would be an ally to the Monolith. Where Monolith has their minds altered, Sin had their bodies mutate and change. If you read into the development of Sin they were basically meant to be the sword to Monoliths shield; Monolith were obsessed with protecting the center of the Zone and making sure the C-Consciousness was safe while Sin felt an unending bloodlust to expand the Zone to engulf the world.
