Day 4 of the never ending monologue challenge!
This is one of my absolute favourite monologues from the play Lungs By Duncan Macmillan and this monologue is from the character of W.
This is my classic go to speech for any and all auditions as I think it shows really good range and a lot of character depending on how you chose to portray it.
I really hope you enjoyed my rendition along with my mum style cardigan.

I really love your monologues ...im taking a theatre class and we have to do a monologue as someone else other than who the character is other than the actual character ... so I'm trying to do a scene from the wizard of oz (Dorothy end of movie monologue "there's no place like Home") As Alice in wonderland with a British accent .... anyway, keep up the great work... listening to your videos has definitely helped me

Hi, I'm currently binging your monologue challenge and well first of all you're doing a great job at these in my humble opinion ! It's really helpful to discover new plays and monologues. I was wondering, since you mentionned auditioning with this one, is swearing ok for drama school auditions ?

Thank you so much I always welcome feedback! Swearing is fine as long as it's part of the monologue and not something you've added to seem more interesting. I would also be really careful not to over emphasise them as they can become overly dramatic and break the flow of the text.
