Episode 10: Using the peer-pressure of social media, Monologues for Me is a series where I can practice performing and review my repertoire. I'd love suggestions of new pieces to work on - feel free to comment your ideas below! This is Emma from People, Places, and Things by Duncan Macmillan.

This really helped me a lot. Thank you so much. I was given this as my Monogue for this year in Dramatic Arta and l needed the exact feeling, the action and how to do, it's a really good video💜❤️

Just been to see this play in the UK, and I thought it was phenomenal. You're rendition of Emma is different from the actress I saw, but I loved this as much as hers. Subscribed.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Duncan Macmillan is an amazing playwright. I'd recommend this play and Lungs as well if you're looking for something to read.

Vivian Glazier thank you! And you’re very welcome ;) I am going to apply to drama schools in UK this year and I am looking for a contemporary comedy monologue (post 1970) and it’s really hard to find a good one! Maybe you could recommend me sth? :)

@@kiara_bella Break legs on your auditions! Comedic monologues are always tricky to find. Women Laughing Alone With Salads is pretty funny. Maybe Women of Manhattan? You could look at Samuel French or Dramatist and break down their plays listed as comedy and see if anything jumps out to you.
