Keystep is very different but you can do much more with it so I would go for the Keystep if I had to choose

We didn't connect it with software yet but analog it functions well!

Yeah the pedal is essential for the rough techno sound, we should have showed the difference! The distortion is quite effective

I have an original KORG Mono/Poly and from my experience with it those exact sounds can also be easily created without the effects pedals etc. I'll put it to you this way - I didn't hear any sounds in the demo that I wasn't able to easily create in the Mono/Poly itself.
