Thank you this video was helpful. I was able to fit this to a D18 scooter without needing to disconnect the front wheel motor wires. Nice mod and the scooter feels much smoother to ride now. Took about 90 minutes only. Easy upgrade thanks Monorim
I needed to clamp the shock absorber a little so the top pin would go all the way through. The tyre valve was scraping on the inside of the fork but after tightening the wheel nuts it seemed ok. I didn't need to cut the front guard either, it just tightened down into the right position. No washer is supplied for the replacement guard bolt so it was necessary to use the original washer and it is very difficult to remove it from the original bolt. Putting the motor cable back through was the hardest thing.
no need, I am afraid you using the thick washer at the bottom lead problem happened , pls make sure thin washer at the bottom , and the thick one at the upon , then it is ok , you could also check our youtube video more seriously

Having just done this install, here are few my key points if your planning on doing this yourself: 1) If you’ve never, at the bare minimum changed a tyre on a car, best avoid this or pay a professional to do it for you. 2) If you’re happy to snap the plastic faring you can skip the first step of disconnecting the electrics. It’s a little bit more fiddly but still achievable. 3) The wheel nuts have been tighten beyond Herculean strength and the supplied wrench is inadequate to crack it. Would recommend a mutli/ vice grip and a can of WD40 will do the trick.
I think this is a mod best left for a professional to install. If you mess up the wiretry at all you have a dead unit that won’t be warranteed due to after market upgrades….

Hi, I’m having issues with installation. When I go to push the shaft through the support frame there is freeplay with the bearing and additional plastic clip/spacer. I feel like the channels cut down the side of the suspension shaft aren’t long enough as the C bracket that sits over the top that you push over the turning shaft sits too high and doesn’t clamp down on the bearing/c clip. Is this a common problem? Has a spacer been left out?

@@Monorimofficial Thanks, after a phone call with the company I purchased the suspension from, we figured out it was the wrong type for my scooter. Right box but the wrong product was in the box. I'm waiting to hear back from them about sending out the correct product.
It's a pity that you have to carve the guard joint, so it can't be restored to factory (undamaged) condition in case of a warranty problem. Also, I don't understand how the bolt washer was left off on one side of the engine shaft. I may wait and see if there will be an upgraded 2023 model.

Шайбу выбросили с оси колеса, колесо будет истираться. Крыло подрезали, т.е. оригинальная конструкция нарушена. С истиранием проводов мотор-колеса тоже вопрос. Очень хорошо бы подумал, прежде чем ставить такое.
