MONSTA X (trespass, all in & fighter) MV REACTION! 

it seems no one has explained the storyline of All In yet, all that I have is the following: So to begin all the facts: the guys all know each other and are friends, Kihyun has some issue with his leg, we don't know if he got it injured or if it was always like that, Hyungwon has a very strict father and him and Minhyuk are the closest with each other, Joohoney is involved in illegal stuff and Shownu has a loved one in the hospital, I can't tell much about I.M bc he doesn't really have many scenes but we can assume he's closest to Kihyun. The guys are all growing some plants that have flowers with very strong healing properties or something of the sort, which they then extract into a liquid. They're all living in some dystopian worls with a military regime. Now the story: When confronted by some soldiers Hyungwon gives flowers to one of them who's a boy around their age, and his father finds out so he goes to scold him and hits him, later Minhyuk goes to visit him and finds him hiding bruises from a beating, the most common theory is that Hyungwon's father is homophobic and punishes his son for being unmanly and tender towards other men. Minhyuk is of course very angry at this and gets Wonho and I.M to help him get revenge and they burn down the man's house, they don't tell Hyungwon and he later finds out, it is safe to assume Hyungwon is now disowned. Shownu has ran out of money to pay for the medical costs for his pressumed family member and resorts to desperate meassures, he asks Joohoney to get them some weapons because he wants to rob a place, Joohoney smuggles guns for them and they threaten the workers in what I assume is either a store or a really old fashioned bank?? But when Shownu goes back to the hospital turns out that in the time he was away the person died and he did all that for nothing, he burns some of the money in his grief and frustration. Meanwhile Kihyun is trying to escape something, we don't know if people are after him or if he simply just can't stand living there anymore but he's getting away, the snow and his injury slow him down. The place Shownu and Jooheon robbed had security cameras and now there's evidence of them so they're on the run, plus Minhyuk, Wonho and I.M just comitted arson so they can't stay there either and Hyungwon is homeless, so they all decide to leave together. The tub scene happens presumably while Minhyuk is off planning and executing his revenge so he comes back to Hyungwon unconscious, most common assumption is a suicide attempt, so he lies with him and uses the flower elixir to cure him. Now my personal theory as to why KIhyun and the person Shownu was caring for were not given flower elixir to heal/get better is that there wasn't enough to do that yet but it was the goal of growing them in the first place, plus it's most likely an illegal substance so they were growing them in a tiny and concealed space, so not much to work with. Since that person is now dead and they need to leave on the last night before running away they just extract all of it and in a makeshift ceremony all of them drink it and have a campfire, enjoying their last oportunity at peace before possibly getting hunted down.

Knock knock...Trespass is such an iconic debut. They really said we're coming to steal yo girl from day one 😆

STORYLINE: So from what i get in All In is that they live in a strict nd restricive world it is not explained what is going on and why or what they are fighting for. Shownu has a sick father and Jooheon helps him rob a bank to get the money to treat him but it is too late. Hyungwon has an abusive father and Minhyuk hates it so he burns the building the father works or preaches at. Hyungwon drowns himself in the bathtub and Minhyuk finds him and uses the flower elixir to try to revive him but also joins him in the bathtub. Kihyun has some physical impediment and uses crutches we dont know how he got hurt. Changkyun and Wonho help Minhyuk burn Hyungwon's fathers building. Jooheon is like a catalyst character he makes thing move. In many MVs he is always a seer a shaman or someone with all seeing power. So for the continuation Shownu was put in jail for robing the bank. Wonho and Changkyun once again are in charge of helping find the members. Kihyun looks for the flowers. Minhyuk and Hyungwon like you said are now sick because of their swim in the bathtub. The tedy bear could be a reference to Shownu. We all associate him with a bear and when Jooheon nights him and releases him from jail, we later see I.M playing and leveling up the bear. The Clan is a trilogy Lost, Guilty, Beautiful are the name of the albums. Lost is ALL IN Guilty is Fighter And Beautiful is both the name of the album and MV (yes this is another song not Beautiful Liar) Beautiful is more abstract but i think Monek (MONSTA X's nickname) chose to travel into another plane of existence at the end of fighter. This is why you see them all in white with a cloud background. Beautiful is like all of the members being tested and overcoming a trial to determine if they are worthy of reincarnation. Personally i think SHINE FOREVER is also connected to these reincarnated Monek. the song was a repacked of the Beautiful Album. The story doesn't connect but there are some things that make more sense if you think of Monek as the Reincarnated Monek from The Clan trilogy. When you get to the song i will explain my thoughts to you 💙.

trespass being the reason for the start of monstax songs being called noise music since during those times, majority of the kpop songs were not hard hitting hip hoppy hype songs, they were more melodic and attractive to general public but monstax didnt change their music despite the harsh critism they got back in the days and we are glad they didnt and that is why we say monstax give birth to the some of the music from the famous 4th gen groups

Important : the thing that we should see and attention about Monsta X is that they have a lot of courage. 1 _ when they were rookies, they did ALL IN and the story between minhyuk and hyungwon was the point 2_ members always support LGBTs , and frankly talk about it , even now lots of idols scared to talk about this things 3_ they have two full English albums , it's so hard and risky to even drop an English song let alone having an English album 😳 ( both of their English albums has so much success even in billboard charts) even other big groups doesn't have it 4_ they are so brave for using mature lyrics they talk about a relationship in its different sides, not only one side of love and relation .

yassss!!! another videoooooo, if you almost cried with all in, wait for "Find you"... is literally the trauma of monbebe, as you can see the boys are so good in acting and their old videos are amazing, I hope they bring back the clan storyline, there's so much from monsta x, I love them and can't wait for them to return from the miliitary to feed us with more amazing music!

Monsta X acting is sooo good. You can chack this in "The Temperature of Sophisticated Golden My-Way". This was a original drama in Monsta X Ray 3.

i think the all in mv has a special place in my heart. the specific storyline of minhyuk and hyungwon's relationship in the mv (presumably a lgbtq+ relationship) and the homophobia that shows, ending in a romeo and juliet type way destroyed me as a 16 yr old (when the mv came out). i like the observation that the album titles spell out LGBT in order: Lost Guilty Beautiful - Together

Loving watching your journey and seeing you get wrecked by them like all us Monbebe are. I saw them live in LA and Kihyun had broken tibs and still KILLED it. Seeing Joohoney playing the drums was life. It was their last US concert with Wonho. It was a spiritual experience. You NEED to explore their B-sides. If you think you love them now wait til you hear them.

Monsta X debuted with a unique song , they started a new style . Monsta X was new and different and continued with that , so they kinda like an inspiration for many 4th gen groups and even some 3rd gen songs.

Once they are back from military service..i hope theyll start touring again. Theyve been to the U.S a lot..even have U.S recording label (why they have so many all English songs). Hi! On their world tour in 2019 [We are here in Seoul] they performed Trespass combined with some Rock, and it is AMAZING!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!!!! I remember seeing it, when I was still new to the fandom, and MY MOUTH WAS OPEN, I really love rock and when I saw the video of said concert it really made me fall in love with them! It's the reason I REALLY want to go to a concert of theirs! JOOHEON BROKE IT, he's not my bias, but my eyes always go to him every time I watch the video, he's CRAZY! then we have KIHYUN with his powerful voice and OMG!!! You really have to see it here on RU-vid! "Trespass" being a really energetic song, needs a lot of presence and it's incredible that after years, they performed it even better! So far (I'm not sure), they haven't performed it after said tour. In short, his concert videos are from another world, watch them when you have time, he will blow your mind, although Joo is going to destroy you haha ❤ I can recommend their live performances, since you've seen LOVE and Rush Hour, see their performance at MMA 2022, it's AMAZING! There are a lot of theories about MONSTA X's videos. There is a theory that the albums Lost, Guilty, Beautiful (Trilogy) mean LGBT (by the first letters of the names). In the "All in" video, Hyungwon and Minhyuk introduce themselves as a gay couple. Hyungwon's father is a priest who does not accept his son's same-sex love, so he abuses him because of his religious beliefs. Once again, when Hyungwon is beaten, Minhyuk gathers the guys and goes to burn down Hyungwon’s father’s church. When he returned with revenge, Minhyuk discovered that Hyungwon had committed suicide. Minhyuk does the same and they die holding hands. In the Fighter video we see their rebirth. Shownu's father is sick. To help him he needed money, so he decided to do a terrible thing. Jooheon pulls out a gun and they go to rob a bank. Returning with the money, Shownu sees that his father is no longer there. That's why he's crying. By the way, in the Fighter video he is in prison for his crime.

And the time travel triology is Find you, Dramarama, the music film Connect which has Destroyer as the bgm and the concert VCR 2. I will have to be completely honest, I have been a fan of MX since 2015 and to this day, I am not 100% sure of what was the storyline for The Clan (there are 3 albums with the name. The Clan part 1, the Clan part 2 and The Clan part 2.5). I remember seeing a super detailed comment once about All In, but I dont remember where I've seen it 😭

I'm loving your reactions! So I have to recommend the Fighter Part Switch version while Fighter is still fresh for you. The video is fun but the Fighter Recording video for the Part switch is the best part of that whole endeavor. (Hyungwon gets me every time, he's so funny in that video.)
