I'm such a big fan of the XGames and this year is such a step up from what it it's been for a while. The vibe at this event was pure enjoyment of BMX and so fun to watch. By the way, this was yet another event that shows Ryan Williams is just simply the best, and not just at his tricks, but how he carries himself. The dude spent the whole time talking making this event about his lost heroes while coaching and praising his competitors. He even helped Kaden Stone get his bike. What a hero and role model of a an allstar human. Keep being you R Willy, you rock!

Dude this event was absolutely insane. R Willy is an absolute legend, so frickin amazing. Plus so many other good runs. Sandoval, Toohey, Wade, etc. And great commentary. This could very well end up being the most entertaining event this year.

Why x-games invite same riders every year? I mean, this guys are great riders in dirt and park but they don't use the quarter pipe, except for Ryan. I think there are a lot of riders out there who deserve to be there.

I’m pulling for Daniel Sandoval every time I know he’s in a competition. He’s got a unique style and some insane tricks up his sleeve, but he’s just got some bad luck. Hope he can come back and get on the podium at another event this weekend though 👏

This event is really awesome, but the park design clearly favors those who do aerials to the left (right-foot-forward riders). Unless you are able to do goofy footed aerials, left-foot-forward riders have to land the 1st jump almost on the left edge to be able to air to the right on the next quarter. And they still have to really go left before airing the next quarter in order to get a good line for the next jump. I wonder what would happen if next year the park has both lines!

As impressive and difficult Ryan's scooter riding might be from a performance perspective, it won't ever look as stylish as BMX or skateboarding do - which isn't the riders' fault though but an inherent property of the concept. It's not about _scooter hating_ or something - I'm sure it's a lot of fun and takes a lot of practice, dedication and bruises, but from an aesthetical perspective it just doesn't do it for me. Ryan for sure is an impressive rider if not the world's best on both, but I definitly prefer his BMX riding.

Ryan's tricks are mind-numbing, but I gotta say that the twister doesn't look good or stylish at all. I know competitions kinda have to move in the spin-to-win direction, but it does taking something away from what makes BMX fun and look sick.

GET RID of the clock and the "jam" style comp. Give each rider 4or5 runs, and however long it takes, run it. The time clock seems unnecessary. 🤘❤️🤘

The reason Ryan Williams always wins is because every year he does something new, he might throw one or two tricks he has done before in there but people like Zach Warden try to do the same thing every year. That's just not gonna cut it

It's as incredible as it is amazing to see Scotty standing there co-moderating the event as if nothing ever happened - and it's a testament to what modern medicine is able to achieve _if only one is actually in the position to access its full potential_ in light of US healthcare politics.
