Man we are so lucky to have had Slay and Raha choosing to drift away from racing. They've been resurecting FREERIDING and the old moto lifestyle these last few years !!! I enjoy that type of dope edits way more than watching everybody do the same no hander double backflip or frontflip at the X-Games.

The limits of fmx had been pushed by twitch, deegan and travis to the point where new riders felt it was way too dangerous to top other fmx legends, also the price of modifying the bikes and competing had changed drastically, not only axell but many other riders, even twitch and travis changed the sport to not compete in the best tricks but to compete in having fun, axell specifically added his own style to the sport by taking inspiration from skating, bmx, and snowboarding
Shit that's easy i could clear it on my yz 125, he can't even make it on a 450 he's got style but no go, see when he comes short alittle those two little jumps he should just hold it wide open don't worry about whipping them little things just hold her down and wide open and would clear it right, see I thought it looked 250 not 150 that's a cake walk for a 450, that's why I ride yz125 I would probably over jump everything on a 450 250t

Love the good natured kidding/heckling from Axell's dad towards Twitch! "We didn't come here to hit the 45 footers that Twitch hits!" That type of camaraderie is probably 75% of my best memories at the track/trails.
One thing I like about dirt bike riding is when one of your friends hits a jump and the dust from the jump is still there in the air I think it’s cool keep up the good work monster you guys are the shit
What's great about these and similar video's from a film making perspective is that the films are shot with high apertures. The depth of field is super deep 99% of the time and that means as long as your frame rate settings are correct, this can be done by most people on cheap gear if needs be. Anyone with a half decent camera and 2 lenses that go from wide to super telephoto can produce cinematic footage. Even manual focusing for these style video's is fair easily due to the depth of field beimg used. Camera angles and movement, with a mix of slow motion coupled with simple transitions stitches it all together nicely

Ocotillo after rain!!! Really good video, would like to see a part 2 with riding on the ridges and some of the tight canyons, maybe throw him in a Sxs for a couple shots of a night ride. Ocotillo is probably the best place to ride if you love 2 and 4 wheels.
It was inevitable, and a sign of the times. Whoops are good for you, who goes to the desert to complain about whoops? If you really know Ocotillo you can hit the ridges and washes that are too tight for a SxS and put together some really fun loops with a mix of everything. Whoops do get old, until I do a WORCS race and realize it's the best training you can do.
