No, Monster was already the finalized demo made for EXO. most EXO songs are tailored/created by the producers with EXO in mind. You'd be surprised to know on how many producers actually seek out EXO themselves to make songs for them. EXO are very lucky that they are popular among big producers bcs usually SM would bought bunch of demos and give the songs to who sing the song best. EXO got the priviledge of both. Monster, Day After Day, Tempo, Going Crazy and more were created for them. While songs like Kokobop and Artificial Love were bought by SM without knowing who'll get it. Kokobop demo was previously about to become RV's song and Artificial Love was meant to be given to NCT. but bcs Baekhyun sang the Artificial Love too well in the demo it was given to EXO.
