Archim3des It could also just be a portmanteau of “mechanical” and “McElroy.” Gotta admit, though, that I love the idea that these are actually huge mechs being piloted by the brothers in a world full of massive furniture, except Justin got stuck with a relatively tiny one.

I honestly just appreciate the amount of creativity that went into this. It’s a nice break from a lot of the more common “drawing stationary people at a desk” version of fan animation.

This is so good I love these robots!! And I think I’ve watched this episode of monster factory more than any others, it’s so good and so upsetting and you captured that perfectly!

i love that with the mech-elroys this is just robots manufacturing humans instead of the other way around. then again im not sure we can call that thing a human
There is some powerful Invader Zim energy about this and I only mean this as the highest compliment. The beautiful, expressive, chaotic animation just perfectly captures the fun of Monster Factory. Absolutely wonderful
when i die, they're going to sort through my memories to see if i had a good life at the top of the memories will be robot mcelroys and they will know, that if all else sucked ass, i still found joy here

Okay, has anyone mentioned yet the use of your arrows as animation shorthand when going through the slower frames? Because that is bloody brilliant as a shorthand. It's almost unnoticeable, but it makes the animation flow so so so much smoother. This is amazing. I love it. I come back to watch it multiple times a week. Thank you for this.
I love your style, I love the “mech-Elroys” design concept, and I _really_ love the fact that geometry-clipping-blob-monster Truck Shepard is literally more animated than Justin and Griffin. That's a genuine film/television technique used to make monsters look creepier, and you pulled it off flawlessly.
This is such a beautiful visualisation of the behind the scenes look into Griffin's terrible, awful Monster Factory. I wish this were a legit cartoon series. It's so wonderful, great job!

The way that this revealed Truk Shepard's cursed face polygons shooting off into infinity, blasting out through the door before even his body emerges, is just such a flawless way to render the horror of it.

EVERYTHING about this video is delightful - the robot designs for the brothers, the occassional photoshopped realistic body parts, the Energy and Bounce in certain areas, how smooth the animation can be, how original the story within the animatic is...... this is a PURE WORK OF ART

Justin being the smallest but the oldest brother makes sense, if you think Mechanic Clint McElroy first built Justin small as a test robot. Then Travis comes next, and he’s a big blocky bot, so this is Clint making his AI bigger but still not perfectly adaptable. Then the baby brother Griffin comes along, and he’s obviously the most flexibly designed robot yet, as big as a normal sized person.
This is possibly my favorite Monster Factory episode, so I'm absolutely delighted to see a part from it reimagined in your style. Thanks so much for sharing another one of your masterpieces!
