originally, I just wanted the core dolls, but Mattel sure keeps nailing it! First Twyla, then Abbey, now Venus… It’s impossible not to want them all!

She is really pretty but I still prefer the g1 Venus because she was the first doll I got after years of begging for a doll in general, she is and always will be my favorite character ❤

I honestly feel that they could have done Clawdeen and Venus instead of Howleen and Venus, mostly because we see more of Clawdeen than Howleen in the series.

G1 Venus has a nicer shade of green.

Did anybody else notice that this doll was less trouble to debox than usual? The entire back came off pretty much immediately and very cleanly. Then just snip a few elastics and you were almost done (except for the two plastic ties in her head). Still, a better and easier deboxing experience than I'm used to. Venus is 🔥 but I do somewhat prefer the subtler shade of green that G1 Venus rocks. However, I prefer G3's body and face sculpts and especially the fact that she stands pretty easily on her own. G3's hair is cool and i guess we'll see how well it ages. Can't be any worse than the G1s, right? Unless it like, spontaneously combusts.

She’s a beautiful doll but I’m just not sure if I want to buy her. All the MH dolls I have I repaint in my style and the cornrows makes me nervous for restyling purposes.

i wish the greens were better on the doll, it’s so nit picky lol but like why are the leg vines a blue-ish green when literally all the other greens on her are yellow-greens? it makes them stick out in a bad way. that being said i think she’s my favorite g3 and definitely the best re-design out of all of them so far besides Abbey

I'm trying to enjoy her as she's one of my faves from G2, but the redesign made her look like IT GIRL Shrek T__T. I really don't like the fact that in the G3 the designers decided to ignore balancing out the outfits and colours, so we end up with horrendous combos like lagoona or Venus that have crazy skin - hair combos :( I'm glad tho that other people can still enjoy them though! They just don't fit my aesthetics (anymore), and I prefer them before redesigns
