This line so far is seriously a 10/10. I love everyrhing about it. If Drac is somehow a flop doll, I'd be surprised, because the rest of the line is *chef's kiss* perfection. I especially love details like: Cleo and Frankie's side glances can look at each other, Clawdeen and Cleo come with posters of their respective partners (Toradeen for life!), and just everything about Lagoona. Coral instead of flowers, the black Burger (which if I remember correctly were made with squid ink?), pearls EVERYWHERE, what looks like Señor Squeaky on her purse, the dark teal lipstick that looks STUNNING! I can't get over how pretty these dolls are!
The flowers in Cleo's flower crown are the Egyptian Lotus. It is the official flower of Egypt today and can be seen all over tombs and temples. It was revered by the Pharaoh for its beauty and enchanting fragrance
dang, those dolls are GORGEOUS! I only want to collect the Signature Dolls, but these dolls are just too darn pretty not to consider getting them! and I had the impression that the point of the “Refresh Series” was to fix the whole poly hair debacle, which in theory means no more poly because most people hate it.
All of them are serving.❤ - Frankie often gets a bad rep for having. Too many colors in their designs, but their Monster Fest doll balances all of those colors out. They also have a new leg which is cool. - Cleo feels like an elevated version of her SS2 doll like she got the Drag Race All Stars budget. - Clawdeen having actual fur in her outfit is so and her makeup is beautiful with the stars. Having the Hisfits poster is making me think that her and Torelai will probably be closer in the second season. - Lagoona is my favorite in the line. I love her hair blend and the overall outfit is gorgeous.
Clawdeens face and lip color are gorgeous. Frankies look is everything and people are crazy if they say otherwise. Those pants are fun and cute! Lagoona has a sideglance!! 😮 She looks perfect!! Actually everyones make up looks on point wow! Cleo look glam as always, so cute.

Thoughts and Prayers: Clawdeen: Fantastic, Amazing, Spectacular; I would've preferred that slightly darker and somewhat de-saturated prototype but It's all fine and good. I think maybe the only thing I'd "fix" about her is adding some text to the top, think like a band or event tee that she cut up into a fierce bandeau or crop. I also feel like she'd be great with her eyelids shut just a tiiiiiny bit more but that's just a me thing. Frankie: Zamn. Love this doll itself but hate the outfit within an inch of my life, being dramatic but it's not giving like they deserve it to be. I feel like just swapping the print on the pants with something more punk-y and less pajama-ish would've been fine and maaaybe give them a jacket, bolero, bracelets, arm-warmers or boa made of scraps of cloth (or something to that effect), just to fill up space on the upper half of their body. Cleo: It's giving!! (Finally) But the pants should've matched the top's fabric, end of story. Lagoona: Strong, but why *are* her shoes black, or at least why are the straps? There's like, four other colors there, no need to add another just to make the shoes feel like an afterthought.
All of the shoes are inspired by their haunt couture dolls. Cleo's is very similar, cladween has a similar boot with her dogs exposed, lagoona has the octopus reference AND the shocks and Frankie have their movable heel! (I feel like I'm a lunatic)

I am breathlessly awaiting these dolls! I hope they all have saran hair too. I like Frankie's final pants better than the prototype, the plaid is more muted in color. My favorite is Clawdeen, then Cleo, Lagoona and Frankie. I will probably get all 4 as well as Catty. i really hope we get a Phoenix doll, but there is no indication of them so far
I watched this yesterday via my switch and tv (hence why im commenting now) anyway.... Omg are these dolls gorgeous i may definetly finally have my G3 Clawdeen and maybe Lagoona or Cleo picked.... But i am in love with them all especially Clawdeen though so im hoping i can at least get her if not her then either Cleo or Lagoona id say frankie but as my main focus is repros im limiting myself to one character per doll for g3 and i already have a Frankie, i got first wave frankie which is fine and my Draculaura is 100% gonna be the core refresh i love her a lot... But that leaves Clawdeen (if i dont get Monster Fest), Cleo, Lagoona, Toralei (i want hissfits but i doubt itll happen), Abbey, Ghoulia, Venus (she out yet?), Catty (hopefully i can get her i wasnt able to get gen 1 and idk when they're going to give her a repro and if they do if ill even be able to get her), Twyla (same as Catty) and the Meowledy and Purrsephoney (hoping for hissfits again cause then i got my one for them and Toralei but I'll have to wait and see if I'll even be allowed to since im not alliwed to spend much on dolls even if it is worth said value) anyway sorry kinda rambled there....point is i really really really really really hope i can get either Monster Fest Clawdeen or the Hissfits if i was made to pick... Id pick hissfits probably in a heart beat cause it knocks out three dolls instead if just one.... Sorry for the rambling... If you read this i hope you have a good day and sorry this is so long.
Lagoona ate the most IMO, I love her SM!! Frankie is giving modern 80s and I LOVE it. Cleo is beautiful as always. And this G3 Clawdeen is definitely my favorite so far, still my least favorite of the line but she’s really cute still. Also I was the one who told you about the Egyptian lip makeup😂
Huh I get the idea with Cleo's shoes and the decorative heel but it all still ends up just looking like simple boring wedges and the teal they used is too overpowering against the gold imo, not really screaming "DeNile" to me if you know what I mean haha. Actually the shoes they gave Cleo here are similar to the same ones Hextian initally destined/sketched for the custom Cleo G3 doll in that video, before there were two more sketches made and the fans voted on the third design, which ended up 10x better depicting the pyramid look 👌.
Actually, the gold on Cleo's lip is not Egyptian at all. It's Mayan. For some reason, a lot of toys & cartoons of ancient Egypt are full of Mayan designs. Totally inaccurate & annoying. But okay if you don't care about historical accuracy.
It says it’s from Egyptian descent on Google. They used crushed beetles, ants and other items to create the line. And Mayans used more of a face point makeup called “black face”. They would draw lines on their cheeks, forehead and chin. So not the same thing from what Google says apparently. The Mayans seemed to draw stripes going past their lips. But it seems like Egyptians only used the paste on their bottom lip, instead of going across their whole face like Mayans.
@@Starlightclod I have been studying all things ancient Egyptian since I was a little kid. I have yet to see one single ancient Egyptian artifact with that on it. Not one. Yet, I have seen it on Mayan artifacts in abundance.
