Your so lucky, in New Zealand not much newish dolls are here! So I was so excited when I found original operetta! She is really a beauty. I started collecting Monster High much later than most of the collectors, so I don't have all the original dolls either. She looks so adorable and I love how the concept of everything is very well executed: from the box, the outfit, the makeup, everything.I also love Frankie's illustration at her booklet, there's like an anime feel into it. And most of all, I love your term "Candyfied Alice in Wonderland" :D I am a BIG fan of Alice in Wonderland, and knowing that this doll line is kinda like that, I would love to get one now. :D It would be really fun if they would expand this doll line. I also love the fact that they added more colors to Frankie's motif, not just black and white. Another awesome review! :D I can't wait to see your Draculaura's review tomorrow. :D
When I only heard about this concept, I was a little worried they might over do the decoration but I was proved wrong when reviews of Sweet Screams dolls were posted online. I really liked them. When I saw them in person, I fell in LOVE! "Candyfied Alice in Wonderland" is exactly what I thought of when I saw this doll in packaging. Like you said, everything about this doll is just...gorgeous!!! "To be continued" at the end of the book really makes me hopeful that they'll continue this line! I'd love to see more of them

Thank you! I use Canon 550D to film my reviews but I didn't purchase the camera for the review. I use to photograph my dolls and toys a lot so I was lucky that I had a camera with a video feature ^^ For my doll hunts, I use my phone Samsung Galaxy S3 to film. Hope that helped :D
I wanted to try but noticed that the glue marks were too close to her face. Some glue marks overlaps on her eyes so I didn't want to risk ruining her beautiful face :(

I know! Mattel is really upping their game with monster high doll packaging lately. The way the candy swirl framed the view window was so beautiful and even the background insert was done beautifully! The only part that disappointed me was the glue marks on their faces.

I knew exactly what you meant :) I actually make a LOT of typos too XD I always do my best to pick up the best conditioned doll when I go shopping (which is the main reason I try to avoid buying online since you have no control over it....T-T) but with Sweet Screams Frankie, all of them had glue marks O_o!!! I do have a p.o.box. My family lives in the edge of the town and there's another house with the same number as my house on the same street (though in different town... if that makes any sense) so we always had mail mix-up. So my family had a p.o.box for over a decade to avoid loosing mails XD 1,000 sub congrats letter would be so wonderful! That would totally make my day!!! It's... I use my phone to film when I go on doll hunts. It's more convenient for me~^^ I would also use my phone to film my doll reviews only if I had a stand for it. Due to this reason, I use my camera when I film reviews :D
