This movie was sooooooooooooooo ahead of its time. This is how they make video games. Exactly like this. The actors playing the two boys where just perfect.
@@SpinxieShroom I don't know, I watched the movie when I was 4-6 years old. I couldn't get scared of things like that. Only the house scared me, a little bit. When Nebbercracker first appeared, I thought, "Monster? Ghost? Oh. Human." Only sudden jumpscares and paintings scared me.
This movie scared the shit out of me and my younger brother as a child - especially the old man’s creepy overreaction at the beginning and the freaky ass main menu on the DVD. I don’t recall ever watching much into it - I was too afraid one of the kids was gonna get eaten
I like to think that is a sort of silent hill-ish world. Where when the ghost of constance manifested, only those near to her get transported in a middle realm between the real world and the spirit world. I like to image that the get transported to a spirit world when all the battle and confrontations happen. While in the real time, they just vanish or diissapear
