Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is out on March 19th for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U For more information, hit up the Monster Hunter blog at www.capcom-unity.com/monster_h...
Not my first MH game, but it's probably the first aside from Rise that has really hooked me. I thought I'd hate underwater combat, but after fighting Royal Ludroth, I am now firmly in camp, "Underwater Combat is cool."
Just to let you know that I play this game to date, to me, this is the game that made me a hunter, yeah mhgu is out and mh4u is the best mh game ever but gotta love mh3u
Agreed man. I started with 3u so itll always have a special place in my heart. Sadly someone messed up my wii u and the power port doesnt work anymore so i have to get it repaired but its been almost 2 years now if not more so i havnt been able to play it. Really do miss playing it. Man hunting ceadeus and fighting lagi underwater was great. Especially the dire miralis hunt
@@HunDev_PL yeah, I wish Capcom releases like a trilogy collection with Freedom, Freedom Unite, Portable 3rd(with English translations) and individual ones for 3U and 4U.
I like how in the cinematic the only glimpse of Dire Miralis you get makes him look like a bird of some kind, but once you actually fight him you find out that’s just the very top of his body
Great Jaggi is unironically one of my favorite monsters in the series I've always had a soft spot for the weaker large monsters and he's and great maccao are my favorites out of them
for me it's way too easy. If you use impact weapon like hammer he's basically a punching bag that can do nothing to you, maybe except howling after getting out of stun before falling over or getting stunned again.
Lol I've been playing this game for a few years and still haven't beaten it. I got 900 hours on the damn thing! What's merciless about this game is the bad item drop =/
Stave Grimise Umm... I've almost beaten 4u and I was thinking of getting 3u, since I didn't like the look of Gen... But since I have a 3ds, I can't play with anyone else... So is it worth soloing everything?
Lol I'm still working on soloing everything. I'm 900+ hours in and only now do I see the end of the game. If you don't mind playing that long I'd say it's worth it. The only other thing to worry about is the bad item drops but that just gives you an excuse to fight monsters better. Upgrading the shakalakas and the cantina are pretty fun too. I have never played 3U online once and I like the game. I want to beat it because it's the most stubborn game I've ever played.
I just noticed, that hunter with a Rathalos armor and Lagiacrus greatsword fighting Brachy could be the same hunter in the tri cinematic hunting a Jhen Mohran.
The lagiacrus used to scare the shit out of seven years old me. Took me 6 months to even get the courage to go underwater with him on his first appearance quest
This game holds a special place in my heart. Why I was a kid and saw that acid monster I freaked out because he was so cool and I thought he was the big bad and you needed the best and most powerful armor and weapons to beat.
MH Tri was my first game, Portable 3rd made me fell in love with the series but this one here was the first one I "completed" it and just formed me as the hunter I am today, its not my favorite entry but it still sure brought me a lot of joy
Indeed, the same was in Tri too. Either just showing monsters or/and hunters running away. In other opening cinematics the hunters have fought back, for example in MHP3rd they capture Aoshira/Arzuros.
As much as the 3ds 3d feature was wonky at times, CapCom took full advantage of the 3d feature with this opening intro. I BEG YOU if you somehow can, watch this with the 3d feature ON!! It shall not disappoint :)
The sea is very cool and the monster is much better than monster hunter 2 and this opening make feel like watching a movie , I play this game for 2 years I really enjoy battle with monster and cooking will done steak this a really fun game look very awesome and coolest .
@@legodofarkstrash9439 Tri servers are dead, MH3U servers are still there... However they might get shut down soon as well, the game is pretty old after all...
It wasn't really needed in Japan since a crap-ton of people in Japan play Monster Hunter & own a 3DS. When it was localized, they were only able to do a straight port, hence the unfortunate lack of online (and why the Wii U version, a home console, has it). There is a work-around if you have both a 3DS, a Wii U, and both versions of the game.
Has it always been azure rathalos and ivory lagiacrus in this? I guess I always just assumed it was the standard kinds and never paid attention to the color.
this game is way too good to not be put on some new gen consoles at some future point. Heck, it has beautiful, already HD textures, contains loads of fan-favorites and brought many unique mechanics to the series. I think that underwater combat could get another go as well, they could rework it after all
