@@Doos Haha i am sorry :S For me it was definitly MH3rd jeez the amount me and brother played on it and never forget Monster hunter Frontier. (Korean server was a pain to join) The community was small back then, but it definitly was the best time i had in a online game

Bumper car simulator. It was a lot better to stay near the hindlegs to deal damage (they had the same hitzone value as the head). Not a fan honestly. It's one of those monsters that world made a lot better imo.

I own these games, and yet, I think I'd rather give up all my progress in 4U and Generations on the 3DS just so I could use a real controller on emulator. I hit 40 in a few weeks, and man, my hands and wrists can't take that thing anymore.

Nah, these monsters are perfectly soloable sans Dalamadur That monster was specifically aimed for multiplayer due to his huge amount of health and takes alot of effort to clear solo since you don't have access to big artillery weapons like Dah'ren fight

Tbh I don’t get that. They should be. I consider elder dragons gods. But at the very least they are what I call Demi elders. Non elders who can stand up to, Kill, or greatly harm a elder.

Ukanlos also crops up after Dal, doesn't he? Dal unlocks your HR, Ukanlos gives you G. I remember because I had a really easy first time against Ukanlos and thought of him as a victory lap after being stuck on Dal for two weeks or thereabouts.

4U was one of, if not THE best monster hunter game (proportional to the time when it was released obviously, cuz quality wise world is better).

To this day, it's my favorite generation. also, alot of the inspiration for some of worlds endgame came from 4u. Guild quests are the clear progenitor to investigations and I've always thought nergigante took heavy inspiration from gore magala

4U was my first and it will always be my absolute favorite. The roster is massive and gorgeous, the maps were fun and well designed, the story was an added bonus, some of the music is great... 3U was the only title that outclasses 4U when it comes to the soundtrack. Ancestral Steppe is phenomenal, but then you have stuff like Primal Forest and it just can’t compare to, say, the Volcano or Arena Theme from 3U.

I would say that base MHW is only superior on graphics , mh4u beats it on worldbuilding, story, monster variety,number and design and weapon design. Iceborne is the superior one on quality in my eyes

I miss this game, played this so much that my LE mh4u 3ds circle pad got rubbed out cuz of my finger nails. Imo this title stands out way more then Generations and World. Looking forward to Rise.

Totally. It’s so much better than every other title that’s come out since. I like what they’re doing with Rise though. These devs at least know how to make an engaging title that doesn’t feel the need to dip into your wallet...

@@joshuabennett8256 No, you can literally see it's head. Area 4 (if I remember right) is the inside of it's mouth. Just look towards that area and you'll see it's head, it's not subtle.

Wow Amadeus. I'm loving this 4u series. Can't wait for more. This brings back memories of when I also soloed the game a few months ago on citra. Was not easy, nor was it fun. Teo's fight was complete ass, and Dala's meteor spam at 5% health almost walled me. In the process of getting hit by one meteor, you get hit by another one. Wasn't fair at all. To this day I don't know how I did it, but I'm definitely proud of my achievement

The first time I fought Dala, I didn't believe there was anyway for me to beat him in 50 minutes. And I was right. Took me a couple tries to finally beat him. Truly a spectacle.

I miss the lethality of toaster's supernova. I would build highly defensive just to flex on it in 4u, but now in world you don't even need that much defense to survive. With rank appropriate armor, it does only like 1/2

MH4U, In HD 1080p 60fps, Dalamadur, Chrono Trigger Music, honestly I can see absolutely nothing wrong with this video and expect to see you all every year around the same time when I rewatch the video. By far definitely my favorite MH4U vid, and the one I'll recommend the most moving forward.

A story from my early days of G rank. While fighting that D.Seltas with my cousin (both of us in High Rank Armor), I had the wonderful luck to be standing 2 feet away from where that Rajang Spawns in. AS HE SPAWNED IN. 15 seconds later, he flipped his switch and went Apex. To say the least, my pants were brown that night. My cousin wouldn’t have needed a Skype call to hear me screaming; all he would have needed was to open the window and he would have heard me even halfway across the city.

4U was my first MH game and the one I got my fiance playing first. Val Habar born baby! So many great memories. Biggest is a coworker and I playing together on graveyard shift. Him and I had our first "this game has broken me and i need to cry now" moment together on 4U against the dual back gravios. Oh God and the asshole online who said his 140 double Yian Garuga quest would be easy!

Since Ukanlos and Akantor are flying wyverns just because of residue webbing, I wouldn't be surprised if the Commission called a duck a flying wyvern because of its webbed toes.
