now that was a boss battle, why couldn't they of done more battles like that in previous games. Kushala has gotten some much needed upgrades, and being able to ride kushala in the air is a nice touch , also love how they tied together the openings from both games into the final video
It's really great that for once you get help from something other than cats when hunting. Took people long enough to realize just one hunter isn't the most effective way of defending towns and forts.
@@HelliOnurb The Ace Commander was the Master's "apprentice" when the Master was still one of the Ace Hunters. One day, they went hunting a Rathian but were ambushed by a Kushala Daora. The commander foolishly thought he could take on the Elder Dragon alone, but he was quickly overpowered. So the Master attacked head on the Daora armed with his own hunting knife and managed to scar the beast, getting however severly hurt in the process and forced to stop hunting. Since then, the only thing the Master kept to remember his old days is his hunting knife. This is explained in the MH4U High Rank story, focused on the Ace Commander (and which has, as final boss, the Kushala Daora scarred by the Master, that since then can't molt because of the scar and turned "Rusted").
@@dinorex3464 Oh, it's been a while since I finished mh4u's story, I didn't remember the details of the knife or even the reason it wouldn't molt. I thought maybe the master of defense appeared in previous games and it was something there lol Thanks!
This quest is much more awesome when you actually know what you're reading. Did it today, that was an awesome quest (though not too hard, was awesome). Worth all that build up.
gilgameshvolante I'm inclined to agree, They seem much faster than they were in 3U to me, although whether or not they are may be a matter of perspective.
