I´m fine with that Endgame tbh. It´s definitely better than Rise and i think it´s awesome that every weapon has has a rarity 10 version. As a player that uses more than one weapon class i guess i have plenty to do to upgrade all my sets.
i using LBG most of the time since Base game. Check Out the Bow Gun Expert AngBata11 here in RU-vid. He is making awesome LBG and HBG builds different Ammo Types.

Glad I'm not really much of endgame loop seeker, I just want to get to endgame as fast as possible and upgrade all my equipment and weapons to max and join random hunts to help other ppl. Something I like to do in all MH games I've played.
Afflicted monsters are basically the mix of Hyper and Frenzied monsters. Frenzy inspiration from the "possession" of the Quiro like the dust of the frenzy and the knockout state you can get them into to make them weaker, now of course with no Wystones. Hyper inspired by having glowing sections around their body that if hit deal extra damage. It may be a bit of a combo thingy of past gimmicks, but at least it's better than whatever the Apexs were. Straight POS deviant ripoffs
I think that the Apex monsters were much better than whatever the Arch Tempered ones, only thing AT elders had was the armor sets, their fights were mostly boring with highly inflated stats and faster enrages.. At least with the Apex monsters we got different fights from them.
Still in MR 2 taking my time. Just did the Anjanath urgent quest, so I am getting close to the next urgent. Still have a long way to go before getting to endgame. Could take me a week at the pace I am going to get to final boss alone.

Idk if people enjoyed it as much as I did but the relic weapon/relic armor system in 4u was my favorite. Sure those weapons were alot better than any craft able weapon. But you had to kill some freakishly strong monsters and even then you weren't guaranteed what you wanted. I farmed for hours to make a full relic armor and weapon set that used only the double skills and all the pieces were from an old Fatalis armor version. Meeting up with people online to trade quests because theirs dropped the pieces you wanted and had the apex monsters you could tolerate or had an incredibly tough one (double apex rajang small map so they were almost always together) was also fun. It had alot of flaws though such as only about 5 monsters were farmed since they had the best chance for the best drops. HAME lobbies were people would get kicked unless wearing a specific set. Knocking them out of apex mode was difficult and if you mess up and are stuck without wystones you're screwed. And it was almost a gamble on how if you're hunt was worth it depending on what you got after. Imagine fighting double apex monsters for almost 40 minutes only to be rewarded with mediocre drops. But ohhhh boy when you got one that had max raw, the sharpness you wanted, triple slot decorations, double skill +3, double skill relevant to your weapon, design you want, and glowed in your favorite color. You literally won the lottery and showed that bad boy off in every hunt afterward.
I understand your point since i grinded out lvl 140 gq's as well. But the fact that the rng weapons make the craftables obsolete is so bad. It took away all reason to hunt other monsters since gq equips were always better
@@pabben03 but to get there one would have to grind and not rely on said weapons, HAME was a set people used that involved no relic weapons and even then it was always an option that the community (as far as i experienced) didnt really care what you used. id walk in a lvl 140 rajang room woth full nerscylla and the najarala LS (paralysis) and wreck shop with them
Only complaint I have with the game right now is a lack of subspecies. Hopefully the TUs fix this and give us more than just the rares, bring back Stygian, I also miss Sand Barioth. TwT
It's so weird to me that the only subs we have are Bob, Auroracanth and Magmadron. With the roster of Rise alone they had some major potential for returning subspecies to bring back (Purple Ludroth, Coral Pukei, Jade Barroth, Viper Kadachi, Ruby Basarios, Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, Fulgur Anja, Sand Barioth, Brute Tigrex, Black Diablos, Stygian Zinogre... and I guess Red Khezu and Green Narga too) and yet... they didn't capitalize on any of it. That's pretty much my one gripe with Sunbreak as of now
@@DjslayerGaming Which is kinda strange because I can't really see us getting low/mid-tier subs outta title updates. Things like Stygian Zino or that theorized Thunderbubble Mizutsune I can see happening, but there's no way they're following up monsters like Lucent Narga and Seething Bazel with stuff like... _Coral Pukei-Pukei... tho I kinda hope they do because he's unironically one of the best subs of all time._
@@emperortethysusdacertified8175 what if "low tier" stuff like Coral Pukei only have an Afflicted version lol, I'd certainly like the chance to fight it
@@GameGodZERO Tbf, the afflicted system does kinda give those lower tier monsters a better chance of being added in since their weapons and stuff will be able to be upgraded to r10 regardless of their non-afflicted form's position in the game. And I gotta say, Afflicted Coral-Pukei would be an absolute menace and I need it to be a thing now
I'm so happy the endgame has a good reason for us to fight EVERY monster without the beginner lvl ones being pushovers. I was a big fan of the Hyper monsters in GU because it integrated the Hunter Arts mechanic in a very clever way - your gauges would charge faster by attacking specific glowing parts of a monster but inversely monster attacks coming from those parts are much more dangerous. Tempered monsters were okay but did not behave any differently than their normal counterparts, plus they did not have unique drops for each monster leaving very little incentive to fight. I'm excited to reach this point in my playthrough!
Wish there was layered weapons. I mean layered weapons for non-rampage weapons. It also doesn't help that Rampage weapons can't be upgraded to master rank so they are stuck in high rank. :Edit: It turns out that you can't even layer the new master rank weapons onto Rampage weapons anyway.
Since rampage weapons dont have mr versions im certain they will add layerd weapons for others later but its a shame they didnt at it in sunbreaks launch
Its probably going to be later iceborne didn't get any layered weapons immediately either until I believe their 3rd title update after release I believe 6ish months later.
The only problem i have with this system is the amount of Outfit Vouchers you get for completing one of these. Most of the cool Layered sets take 2 or 3 tickets per piece, PER PIECE! and seeing as these monsters have insane amounts of health, it takes way too long just to make one full layered set. If they would just increase the amount from 1 to like 3 it would be more worth it and more efficient, but as it is now, it's not worth it besides for the materials to upgrade weapons.
You can always farm easier monsters. I don’t know how you can run out of the outfit ticket+ tbh it was only a problem when I first started doing anomalies.
Does the number of outfit vouchers that you receive grow depending on how difficult the monster is? Cause I’ve been getting 1 voucher per hunt and that just ain’t sustainable, seeing as how the layered armors are 5, 10, or 15 apiece
More than anything I really just want REALLY hard versions of monsters (like deviants in MHGU). Increasing difficulty just as like challenge runs. Dreadking Rathalos kicked my ass so hard. Less "farming" and more super hard challenges
Just want to take a second to acknowledge that Arks just DEADLIFT 160 Kgs (355 lbs) with SUPER CLEAN TECHNIQUE like if it wasn't nothing. dam, I'm interested in Knowing waht oo you listen to when you lift my man.
There should be an exposition ranked system , where you get a certain amount of heals and you try and defeat as much monsters as possible with what items they give you
DLC2 electric boogaloo? 🤔 I'm ok with every game not having an infinite loop and just introducing some new seasonal events or just allowing a player to 100% without needing to grind for X hours, because RNG is always omnipresent in these games.
i'll be farming Malzeno for an upgrade: better armour. but along with his armour, i need his SnS; and considering the fact that i need 2 Malzeno Bloodstones... i don't care if i already got one on my very fisrt hunt, i might take a while. granted, i haven't reached the final boss, but i did see Malzeno's rare drop on the material list of the upgraded version. there's the Italian saying "chi inizia bene è a metà dell'opera" (translation: whoever starts well is half the battle); looks like it applies here, since the real struggle is the second Bloodstone. and how do you get Royal Order Certificate 2? i'm going to need 5 if i'm to craft Arlow's armour.
is there no new way of charm crafting ? so this is still se same and can be done while on the way to endgame without disadvantage or being inefficient?
@Archon just adding a few more monsters aint gonna cut it tho World endgame stayed interesting cause of tempered investigations and guiding lands Rise is just "hey a new monster, il farm it 4-5 times then chill out"
I did the first Anomaly quest earlier and noticed some red-text damage numbers popped up... What exactly is that? It didn't seem like it was actual damage being done to the monster's health cause it didn't take any less time then the quests have on average up to this point. And its not like any of the shoutouts from NPCs shed light on it. Being a LBGer I wasn't on top of it so a thought crossed my mind typing this, is that damage number the affliction spot breaking?
So what you're telling me is that they decided to mix in the Hyper monster mechanic from GenU (including the special materials from those monsters) and they decided to use them for fully upgrading weapons into viable final forms like in GenU... _nice_
Got to MR 4 and my game crashed and now I'm forced to redownload 😑 really trying to get to those last switch skills to play around with them. Bullet barrage calls to me
I like to find an SnS to primarily use sword, to make use of the element/status which doesn’t proc on shield. You’ll only get so many stuns off in one hunt and the shield bash combo gets a bit tedious 😅. The new twin slash on your regular attack (x combo for switch) is amazing for a long chain that goes into your A combo afterwards.
Basically, it's the Apex monsters from High Rank, but every monster seems to get one, and they don't have the stupidly loud roars. I assume the elders are immune at this point...
I knew it, just by looking at their appearance GU players can tell. So basically this a trimmed down, repackaged version of GU. Apex and afflicted are just deviants and hypers. Doesn't feel enticing for me sorry to say. Heck the game doesnt even have an intro movie unlike previous games. (Havent played world so dont know if that has an intro movie)
Any master rank quest will increase your MR, you can go and do any follower quests or other sidequests you missed to help do this, or just go after more armour to experiment with
I'm still in MR3, none of my friends I was expecting to play through with are around anymore so my enthusiasm is kinda low now :/ also kinda sad over no Great Boggi/Velocidrome, just feels wrong those not existing/being included you know?
Not sure what you mean. Once you are in MR, HR is kinda irrelevant. It will lvl as you do MR quests. You’ll naturally hit HR 100 eventually as you so MR quests
the whole reason why I never liked rise is that none of they fights were really hard, so i never really felt like mastering the game like i did with world

That's a pretty lackluster endgame. Was hoping for something like Kulve Taroth or Safijiva where you can just keep grinding for better gear. I'll just wait for more dlc before picking up Sunbreak.
Question, please help if you can. When you go to forge a weapon in the smithy the sharpness guage looks unfinished for the weapon. There is like a small portion of it that is only half full. What would that mean?
Im mr 4 now and Farming gear is this useless bcs My masterank xp will Not increase After unlock? Or will it get saved and My Rank increase from 5 to 30 for Example?
Someone posted the same question on reddit. Apparently MR does not increase like in iceborne. Once you beat the boss is when you'll start gaining xp for MR. In other words, it's smarter to only do key quests and come back after the credits to finish the side quests for xp.
ive been playing monster hunter since 2004, and i love the series, but my main concern is that the game has gotten way too easy now. and i am quite disappointed with it in that sense. what do you guys think?
I'd say it's just a matter of being more experienced. I've played every single MH release and feel the same way, somewhat. Sometimes I'm amazed at what people die to in group hunts, but I need to remember not everyone has played for long. There's a consistent style of move sets and movement mechanics within the franchise, so if you play long enough you're just going to get better. Nevertheless, I'll always enjoy playing MH!
The older games were hard for all the wrong reasons (gen1 and2 especially) shitty controls, bad camera, those hitboxes etc. I'm ok with the way monster hunter has evolved over the years. It's also pretty easy to "adjust" the difficulty in mh games: don't upgrade your gear, don't bring palicos only use normal potions for healing. I'm having a lot of fun with sunbreak this way.
I felt the same. I completed the story in about 3 days and thought wow they were so easy. Haven't failed a quest yet except for one online match but I usually solo except for when I'm farming. Truth is I knew most of the monsters attack patterns save for a few new moves so all my past experience def made a difference. I would see people online carting to some moves I would think to myself were easily telegraphed but for them it's a new monster. The movement and dodge/counter options definitely made the game so much easier but all of those have their own learning and usage curve. I still see some people playing sunbreak with techniques from rise such as not using scroll swap or spamming wyrmstake with gunlance. I'm really looking forward to the endgame with every weapon having a max version of itself and all the armor and switch skill setups. Now if only those talisman meldings weren't so poop. I'm getting charms that are either similar or worse than the charms I would get in rise.
Rise/Sunbreak became "easy" because wire bug. Don't get me wrong, i love the gameplay but i HOPE some of it to never see the light of the day ever again. Let's take Valstrax as example, in older game when he did his "arround the world" move, you usually would just run away and superman dive. But NOW in rise, because of the wire bug, you can just stay still and i-frame it or even counter it with a wirebug skill. So all those big moves that monsters did in the past, that where like "OMG I NEED TO DODGE THIS" became nothing more than just opnenings so you can punish the monsters, it seems to me that the hunter became more and more stronger while the monsters didn't catch up with the power. Now things like the changes on the move set your hunter can have, like Surge Slash, THOSE are changes that need to be in every Monster hunter game. I love the old "chess combat" from older games, where you would wait for the monster stop their "turn" so you could attack it, now you make the opennings yourself.
I rushed my way through MR alone with rarity8 kamura weapon and some bulky skills only doing the key quests that i’m comfortable with, and after I finished MR i got the final boss’s weapon in 2nd attempt and easily made sets.
I hope they introduce another expansion , ok ik they tend to start another(or are currently) and leave the prior game be, but I wished iceborne wasn't the end for world but was , and now sunbreak and probably will be aswell. Years after world and it's still popping off in Q's sun break is amazing .
Monster Hunter isn't exactly a MMO or a live service game, they release some free updates then a big paid expansion and that's it, they don't keep releasing new content always for every MH game.
@@alfredoamendez4299 from my experience with mh they release ultimate editions but yes mh isn't an mmo but I love world and rise which added expansions

I feel like capcom have never truly cracked the endgame. So we beat harder things to make better weapons to... what, beat the harder monsters weve already beaten quicker? I know a games gotta have an tip of the mountain at some point but it feels lacking any time they do it.
I see this complaint a lot and I am not quite sure I get it. There has to be a final obstacle at some point, it can’t just keep going on forever. That’s what the MR100 hunt is no?
Save for a few hours of a late start, i've been playing Sunbreak almost non-stop. I'm MR 4. How the hell is every content creator so god damn fast? TDS just uploaded their MR 200 Review
This is actually one of the weakest endgames for a Ultimate game. Especially compared to what we got with IB. The reduced roster should've translated into more varied and interesting power up mechanics, not just knock off hyper monsters.
They don't even give charms as part of the hunt rewards, if it had that plus the materials it would've been a bit better so that we don't have to rely on the shitty melding pot
@@SeekNeo Yeah, I was really hoping for a different version of the Guiding lands here in Sunbreak. I doubt they'd add it in a later patch, but here's to wishful thinking!
100% agreed. 4U was guild quests and apex 140 GU was farming deviants and crown hunting MHWIB was guiding lands and tempered investigations for decos and this is just what... Kill bootleg hypers and pray for a good talisman.
The worst part of this plot hole is the Qurio affliction is essentially a parasite that only makes the monsters harder then Master Rank.#@Serious PLOT HOLE wasting gamers time.😵💫😮💩🤭
Imma be real, the endgame is kinda lacking. A simple fix would be to add RNG talismans to Afflicted monsters. If they want to really make us happy, they could bring back the Apexes *with armor sets* and make them Afflicted so the lore guys don’t complain. I do have a suspicion that Apexes may come back as a title update though.
@Archon honestly I doubt it. We were asking for their armor sets in base Rise and never got them. We asked for unique event quests for the longest when all we were getting was stickers and shoutouts.
The best endgame is rng based, like it was with safi, the Everwood ecc, that's the best way possible to have people keep playing for the longest time, hope they do something like that
this will be amazing if they add PVP during end game so our hunt and building equipment set make sense. And tournament as well so this game will last forever like DOTA, Mobile LEgend and more.
That is one boring endgame loop. Idk I am still on fence with Sunbreak I just dont have the love for it, I need more reason to get back I am really burned out by Rise relatively easy difficulty and lack of endgame I just cant get myself hyped for sunbreak.
Well just like with iceborne, rise is gonna have more added content. Iceborn didnt start off with alatreon and all those monsters. It had multiple free content drops just like sunbreak will.
