When it was revealed I was just talking to my friend about an open world monster hunter literally not even two minutes beforehand. You can imagine my face when I saw this and then they had a release year. So excited. So flipping excited.

I don't think I have ever been more excited or scared for a single product in my life But I am so glad the dev team never stops innovating that's really what makes monster hunter special
After playing Rise/Sunbreak, it looks like they're keeping the advanced traversal but may be going for a "full" open map experience this time. I'm actually more (initially) interested in this than I was with the reveal for MH:W.
@@Stratelier Actually I'm wondering what was on the back of the hunter in the trailer? I've heard some people say it was a great sword but it looks too thin for that yet it doesn't feel long enough to be a longsword.
@@user-nh9xo5kz5m I want to say Great Sword because "it's tradition" but sure it could go either way. Both are about the same size and angle as each other when sheathed.
The rathalos swooping in the end is just icing on this delicious cake. To me it's some sort of symbolism where it tells you it's new, but it's still monster hunter
Perfect trailer, not too little and not too much was shown. Im so excited to see what this game brings and how itll expand the environment and ecology of monster hunter.
It didn't catch me off guard at all because Geoff called out Ryozo Tsujimoto at the start of the show, what else would the man himself be there for if not for this?
Im hoping this takes place in the New world still! The way they portrayed the new world made it seem like it was a completely undiscovered area environment untouched by man! Would love to discover deeper various parts of the new world and hoping for a vast ocean environment and underground environments! And i love that they are ramping up the monster interactions in this one! I hope to see more realistic behaviors from monsters! Like camouflaging from predators, monsters trying to intimidate one another, roaring and territorial disputes happening as you are on expeditions! And varying turf wars depending on the monster's health!
Not hating, but I don't get the hype, you have like mediocre weapon/gear progression. You go to a place fight the monster, it runs away, fight it a little more, it runs away and so on. What's the deal with people liking this game?
You talking like monster Hunter isn’t known for its big map. Making your own camps I hope they have though. Plus the obvious expansion this will get later on.
I legit couldn’t tell exactly what it was until I saw the Rathalos (and the MH logo yes I’m not blind) and the greatsword but I didn’t wanna assume that because 10000 games have those and because it looks so different compared to all the other MH games but I’m so ready to start the hunt!!!
There’s a lagombi looking creature inside the sandstorm and also that ice monkey that acts like a rajan (forgot the name) also as soon as I saw the greatsword I knew it was MH
Wow this just amazing, I am out of words how to describe my joy for this piece of awesomeness. I was hoping for years for a new MH game like World/Iceborn. But this has even broke the limit of my imagination. Even the animal you are riding on looks unique and has different abilities, seems like a prime companion.
they’ve deepened the simulation aspects and it would seem like that includes scale to a great degree. this is exciting. Love Capcom. Very excited to see new consoles being pushed Harder
Natural progression, in World you fight the…world. The very ground you step on. In Wilds, it seems you’re up against the seasons and the weather!! Love to see it!!
@-Mothy- nope it's 6 look at the logo 6 wyvern heads. They always do a mainline game (World aka MH5) and then a side more experimental game (Rise). I think they started this pattern after 2 without meaning to with portable 3rd before MH3.
Now this an awesome announcement. Since the trailer showed the hunter mostly on a mount and there was a holstered rifle on the sadle im guessing we might have a new mounted combat system this time around. Im also guessing that since we saw both a heard of docile monsters and a pursuing group im thinking we might see monster packs that work together in addition to the standard single big monster fights. That seems like a pretty awesome combination to me
Looks like a Mixture of World and Rise which could be pretty interesting. The locations and that storm looked awesome. The multi faceted mount is cool too.
@@simonrockstream There's been like 70 worse games than rise just this year. But nice attempt, super edgy boy. That being said, idk what these people saw that makes it look like a mixture of world and rise lol. My guess is they were going to say that no matter what they saw in the trailer...
CURRENTLY IN JAPAN 🇯🇵, I've visited both Monster Hunter Taverns in Osaka & Akihabara several times vibin with hunters from all over the WRLD as well as leveling up my irl Guild Card that you receive at the tavern. My favorite food from the taverns is the Bunny Dango 🍡🍡 & the Well Done Steak 🍖 both cooked to perfection. I have a reservation for tonight for the Akihabara MH tavern again to celebrate this announcement. I am extremely grateful to be a part of the MH community I absolutely cannot wait for this game to come out much luv 🔥🤘🏾🖤!!! I've been a passionate fan since MH3 That bein said Happy Hunting ⚔️!

It is currently 11 O'clock at night, I'm watching this, holding in a window-shattering amount of screaming for how hyped I am because the whole family is asleep.
Holy moly if this is what I think it is, an open worldesque MH game I'm flabbergasted. I never thought they'd actually try to do one. There's something to note here that I think is interesting. We have this bird dino as seemingly our new and improved Palamute, but no sign of a Palico tailing us. Which makes me wonder, will this new buddy be an all-in-one combination? Not only letting us cover more ground, but also assisting in combat and potentially in support buffs? We've had support buddies since Tri so I doubt they'd get rid of them completely in this one.
It would be weird if Palicos aren't in the game considering they've been a staple in the franchise since Freedom 2, on top of being one of the mascots for the series. I think they just mainly wanted to tease the new mount we're getting (Rise's reveal trailer also emphasized the Palamute over the Palico) and I have a feeling they will show Palicoes later on at Summer 2024
The bowgun in the sachel makes me hope our new companion can shoot one! Very interesting that we're getting what looks like a bird wyvern version of the palimutes.
I'm so excited for the next generation of Monster Hunter!! Monster Hunter World is one of my favorite games of all time! I can't wait to learn more about the game -- this was such a tease!
1:16. RATHALOS IS BACK! For those who don't know, he's a very popular monster that has only appeared in games released inside and outside of Japan. It's pretty cool to see him here. Jokes aside, trailer looks great.
I really can’t wait for this! Can you imagine riding with your boys in co-op and taking down Monsters in the middle of a lightning storm? This is going to be amazing!
Okay THIS Monster Hunter I'll actually try my best to play when it comes out. Not because the trailer is anything particularly exciting to me but because everytime one comes out I'm like "oh I'm gonna join everyone this time" and then I just don't lol
It's nearly 5 AM in the UK, and my excitement for this game is keeping me wide awake. Reading the comments from fellow MH fans only adds to my anticipation!
This reveal made the rest of the show before well worth. My friends were jokingly saying, "what if Monster Hunter 6 is revealed tonight?" and well dreams come true sometimes. 2025 is the series big 20, so it will definitely deliver.
I hope no real gimics and just back to monster hunting the default implementation of slinger was gimic enough and clutch claw was pushing it but it being dlc was fine.

@@montef368 Underwater, mounting, hunter arts, slinger, clutch claw (yuck), wirebugs, followers I think just gen 2 didn't have an actual gimmick, uness i'm just forgetting it, but yeah new MH = new gimmick
