From what we know based off of the trailers, Wilds is doing quite a lot of first time things for a mainline monster hunter game: - Swapping weapons in the middle of the fight. While normally you can change out weapons back at camp, it appears you can carry a secondary weapon with you on hunts that you can freely switch out. - A pack mechanic of sorts. Large monsters like the Doshaguma (the ugly bear looking thing) will appear in packs consisting of them and younger Doshaguma. You'll have the choice of either fighting all of them at once like a madman or you could try to separate the target monster away from its pack mates. - The hunter having a voice and actually talking in cutscenes. - Palicos actually talking instead of just making cat sounds.
@@mavielor7394 3:39 the palico points out the dude in trouble. They also had a few more lines in the trailer like pointing out how one of the Ceratonoth have huge spikes on its back at 1:10.
The bear-lion fanged beasts are called Doshaguma, as mentioned in the second trailer. The tongue-crocodile is an amphibian called a Chatacabra. And the sandworm is a leviathan called Balahara. The lightning-railgun monster does not yet have a name, but it’s supposed to play a big part in the story.
I think all hunter can agree when I say: *We need to see what the Railgun Dragon’s armor and weapons looks like.* Seriously though, this looks like it’s gonna be a great game. We get the mounts back from Monster Hunter Rise, the combat from World, as well as the interactive ecology we got from that same game. We even got some returning characters from some earlier games Little Miss Forge and possibly the Ace Lancer both from Monster Hunter 4! Who else already had a name picked out for their Raptor Horse? Please let us name the Seikret.
Funny thing there's actually a few monstrous couples in Monster Hunter: King of the skies; Rathalos, Queen of the land; Rathian (introduced in first gen MH). Emperor of flame; Teostra, Empress of flame; Lunastra (introduced in second gen MH). Wind Serpent god; Ibushi, Thunder Serpent goddess: Narwa (introduced in fifth gen MH). I guess if there's a new monstrous couple in Wilds or future games, I guess they'll be Titans? Heh!
Very excited about this game, man. This is basically a sequel to MonHun World in which they took a lot of features from. The monsters look gnarly and very alien. Can't wait for the gameplay demo.
Hey guys Since you reacted to some ARK stuff, they released the, ARK The Animated Series, and the new ARK Survival Ascended game that is an apgrade of the game, and of course some map trailers and stuff. It could be interesting. 😁
@@apexzora4423 i was more thinking community can help like if having trouble could have fans join to help or something but honestly dont think would have troubke they are pretty good and skillfully gamers and learn pretty fast
My issue with these trailers, is that they've shown off basically nothing about the game. Whoever is doing their advertising this game needs to be fired.
@@sethlight2784 Or yknow, they could actually shown off gameplay beyond just two weapons, and show off more of new mechanics instead of emphasizing a story we all know will suck. SummerFest had the closed doors gaming event for Content Creators, and every single person who went has stated the trailers do nothing to show off the game. These trailers are HORRIBLE, simple as. I'd rather have every monster shown off rather than have trailer emphasizing the worst part of every Monster Hunter game.
@Jpmrocks7 The trailers are not that bad, while I do think that they could add a bit more weapon gameplay, I think the monsters, story, and other such mechanics have been shown so far have been great. Also, these are only the first few trailers, we still have a year
