Well my theory is when Barroth smashed into the wild spire tower, the flying animals on it (I forgot the name) screams so loud that it attracted Diablos, cause Diablos is attracted to loud noises. So Diablos came to the top by smashing into Barroth thus killing Barroth.
I was playing with a friend and he got to fight this for the first time, I told him when Diablos gets in those falls it comes out with a dangerous attack. When Diablos did that, I said "get away it's about to do the charge thing" and he replied "I am far enough let me take care of my weapon" I yelled "NONONO not now, don't use whetstone" and then he got blown away with 10% health left
Dang i just literally forgot on how Awesome and horrifying Diablos's scream was... Imagine going to the Desert for a Expedition With Water and supplies and then all of a sudden during your journey you hear That 4:24 from like a Mid/Small Distance ? O_o
To me Diablos scream is not as horryfing, but.... nostalgic XD it reminds me of that super loud and annoying Albertosaurus scream from Jurassic Park: operation genesis. And it was a medium sized carnivore, so whenever Diablos screams behing camera, my brain is kinda "wait, shouldn't you be small and just annoying? OH WAIT BRAIN SEND MESSAGE TO LEGS TO RUUUNNN"
Raenar Braun Wow that made this attack slightly scarier. How quickly a 4 ton creature disappeared. like that because of a wyvern. Lol I remember when barroth was a legit boss in MH3. I guess its a bag of meat to everyone else now. Even the little raptor screws with it 😂😂
I main gunlance, myself, with a bit of insect glaive, but damn it. I've used Hammer myself a couple times (read a single time) and even by my own pathetic lack of skill this was absolutely painful
This was by far my most challenging fight to date, i came in well prepared exausted a lot of my reserves but came out on top after 29 minutes i used the pulsar shotel 3
I remember fighting this guy *with the Bone Armour...* It was pretty much hell Thankfully,my Palico,a Grimalkyne and that 1 female Kestodon that joined in distracted Diablos most of the time which makes it easy for me to either heal myself or attack it
Devs like: you know what? It’s already kinda overpowered, has a charging attack, plays aggressively, does a lot of damage, can fly (I think) and flings players like flinging a pencil. Why not give it a burrowing ability?
Think of it like a penguin or ostrich. It has wings yet it can’t fly. It uses its wings to help go through the sand easier like how a penguin uses their wings to swim faster
happened to see this guy wondering around during an exped while my HR was arounf 5 (kinda early). got killed a bunch of times and just when i had him on the ropes he left the map-_-. haven't seen him since was reallyt looking forward to see what gear could have been made with his parts:(
outlaw0987654321 his weapons have pretty high attack, but they have an average affinity of -25 to -30. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you have a liking to the Ice element. the armor is pretty good tho, it has tremor resistance.
January 2020 now and Diablos is literally a 2 min fight for high/low rank and possibly a medium difficulty at most in master rank. It'll probably take you 15 to 20 at most
Its a good start, it gets easier when u can anticipate when he's charging so u can dodge a bit to the side and charge slash for free, ofc all that comes from experience fighting every monster ALOT 😆
@@otherone90 ye u need the experience. I just hate it when you have to go to farm another monster and i get my ass handed to me cos i forgot how it moves and when to attack
Press O to charge & ultimate attack Lerning again about hammer U can kill more quickly if u can use effektif timing I kill more than 20 anjanath with solo player ( for farming & learn hammer )
I failed the first mission, getting hit once and dying instantly. I tried again after crafting a new armor set, but unfortunately, this time it didn't kill Barroth. I deeply regret not taking Barroth's carcass in the first mission; it feels like I wasted something very valuable. Fighting Barroth is easier than fighting Rathalos, but the damage it deals is three times stronger.
i was having an absolute mess of a fight with this guy using my charge blade and made me look like trash. The fight made me consume all my healing potion, annoying af but was hella fun even tho i died many times lol
I main charge blade and have very few hammer exp but there are some definite possible dodge that could be made there...Like, why would you ram head first into a monster famed for its head charge???
MHGU has much more content. Including monsters and maps. There's even special moves called Hunter Arts! Also MHGU has G-rank and you can have two cats at the start. Also event quests stay, so you can play any regardless of the day or whatever. MHW has more QoL changes and updates coming in, with apparently new monsters coning each month. And festivals are a thing too. Event quests also cycle. And you can keep one cat. But befriend other cats and even small monsters. I prefer MHGU bracuse of more content. But MHW is also an amazing game. I beat MHW's story and can say that some of the DLC Monsters can keep you busy. But yeah, that's my quick review.
I fought this monster and Rathalos with the switch axe. I’m not experienced with this weapon. I’ve been using long sword for a while in my hunts. Fighting Rathalos with the switch axe might have been the biggest mistake I’ve ever made in this game. That thing is so annoying…. And Diablos. Oof. I hate it.
Nick Smith am on Diablo too, faced him twice died horribly. I main a hammer called Diablo Sledge one and for armor I have "Odogrando" if that's how you spell it. He is tough, am farming now to get Barroth Breaker one but I need Diablo's ridge and shell to get a weapon that paralyzes him but by that time I should keep what I have cause unless I beat him that weapon stays put. I will try a bunch of traps to see how that works.
Well, Diablos (been around since the first game btw) is extremely territorial. It will maul anything it sees and it's design supports this, especially with how with all its vicious attacks, none of them are bites, supporting Diablos being a herbivore. I can't see Barroth eating ants at all though, I'll give you that.
Some Random person.
Diablos hard? Nah! Why? Legiana DB + evasion charm. Diablos in 30 minutes or less and Faint 2 times and ya fail? Ok that is what I'm not gonna boast about.
@@PolishGoblinn you clearly don't have experience in this game to think that killing a diablos is worth bragging about. Wait to see until what the endgame monsters look like ,or even in your case what mr4 and 5 monsters look like in comparison lol. Who do you think you are to judge other people gameplay, a real life monster hunter or even better, a lord of the real life guild? In the end despite the not perfect gameplay this person actually posted a video where we can see the monster getting killed.
