My heart was broken when the hot wheels and monster jam partnership end and cause hot wheels firestorm to retire. Both are still well both it wasn't the same
Dang, I haven’t watched Monster Jam since like… 2011 lol But man, seeing a lot of those trucks I used to love watching back then gives me crazy nostalgia lol… sad to see that so many have been retired though
Lots of great trucks that I grew up watching as a kid are no longer with us and it breaks my heart to see them go. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), Bulldozer, Suzuki, Blacksmith, Lucas Oil Crusader, Little Tiger, Safe Auto Minimizer, and Doomsday I’m gonna miss not seeing these trucks anymore love them all!
Finally! T-Maxx gets love. He was my favorite during the last few years of when Monster Jam was still good. It suited Carl Van Horn like so well too. To be honest, when the 2008 hit season hit, I knew things were never going to be the same and also when the 2009 incident came after a driveshaft part hit and killed that kid in the stadium, everything changed and I stopped watching Monster Jam since 2010. It's sad to see it's all more about performance and stunts rather than Destruction and Excitement. I miss old school years of Monster Jam 2000 - 2007.
Born in the 80s, a kid in the early 90s, Monster Jam was so much more insane. With that said I'm glad you mentioned Madusa from WCW. And I had no idea the Pirate's Curse truck retired!!! 😭
Two trucks that have been long gone and hopefully not forgotten from my childhood. Airborne Ranger -- piloted by Joe Cypher and Monster Patrol, which was an old Paul Shaffer truck. And by Monster Patrol, I mean the old Green and Black Silverado with the drag wing and halogen rotator lightbar on it. I am aware some modern variants have come and gone, but I mean the GOOD one. and good ole Snakebite. Had a promo poster when I was a kid dated 1996 featuring Snakebite, Airborne Ranger, Gravedigger and Bulldozer. Unless improper storage killed it, I should still have an old Dennis Anderson Grave Digger photo from around that same time period, too. And I had a calendar with a truck by the name of Towasaurus Wrecks. Have never actually seen that truck.
@@MJFanatic I did some looking, turns out Airborne Ranger is still out there on the smaller tours with a matte black wrap. Joe is still driving it, too, turns out.
Monster patrol was my favorite as a 8 year old around 1996. I remember I got the "huge at the time" monster patrol rc car from radio shack. Thought it was coolest thing ever.
@@tnasty9017 Hah, I had an Intruder RC from the Radioshack days. Gods that thing was a 'gas' guzzler. 8 AA and a 9V just for the truck, plus another 4 AA and a 9V for the transmitter. $15 in batteries was good for maybe 20 minutes hahahaha. IT DID have a 2 speed transmission though! My oh my how electric RC tech has evolved in 22 years
The ones I miss the most 1. Monster Mutt Junkyard Dog 2. Pastrana 199 3. Nitro Circus 4. Bulldozer 5. Grave Digger the Legend 6. The Destroyer 7. Captain’s Curse 8. Grinder 9. Blacksmith 10. Backwards Bob 11. AMSOIL Shock Therapy 12. Madusa 13. Team Suzuki
I miss every truck from my childhood growing up such as Bulldozer, Captain's Curse, Taz, super hero trucks, TMNT, An Escalade and Metal Mulisha which is my favorite truck as well. it's heartbreaking that they don't make those trucks anymore.😢
Pastrana 199, Black Smith, Old Digger, Team Suzki, Hot Wheels, Dragons Breath, Captains Curse, Destroyer, Metal Mulisha, Backwards Bob, Monster Mutt, and Bulldozer were my favorites in this video 😔
it bothers me how the truck that performed the first competition front flip has been retired, seemingly only because VP Racing Fuels wanted out of Monster Jam
although some of these are not accurate, fir the most part this is a really good video with more modern trucks that have unfortunately gone away. And in my opinion, if a truck hasn't competed yet since the pandemic, it is easy to assume that it isn't coming back
I miss Team Hot Wheels Firestorm. Heck, I miss HotWheels being associated with Monster Jam in general...such a wonderful partnership it was for 2 decades and the HotWheels truck looked AMAZING especially when Scott Buetow drove it. And the toys, man... Can't forget the past iterations of HotWheels as well, back when it was originally a Meents truck with a Ford body.😎
Sad about Pastrana and Captains Curse. I've also always wanted to see Backwards Bob in person and I'm surprised Bro Dozer is already done. What happened to Blue Thunder though? I haven't seen any videos with it and I saw that Todd Leduc now drives Monster Energy. Also I saw you were playing a mobile game, if you want the best Monster Jam game ever and have a PC, check out BeamNG Drive. It was not built to be a monster jam game, but it has great physics and an amazing modding community that brought monster jam into the game. Beats every officially licensed monster jam game out there.
Yeah I've got the CRD pack and figured out how to add my own skins. Son of a dog that's not an easy task. I like plucking around with it in Freestyle. It's A WORKOUT if you've got a wheel and are trying to use Rear-Steer as intended. Unfortunately I've only found 1 REALLY GOOD freestyle course. I'm aware of the multiplayer mod but I don't have half the content needed or I'd probably do some online play with the CRD mod. it's a blast.
Man that sucks, so many trucks on there I grew up watching. My two favorites where captain’s curse and blacksmith. I loved those old pickup bodies on those trucks.
I miss Predator and the Batman truck cause those were really big favorites of mine so was DK and Taz and TMNT miss all them trucks cause they were really fun to watch
Good video. But Freedom Force just came back this year(unless it retired again) and Tropical Thunder still runs in Austrailia. Also, Hot Tamale(which had it's name shown on Radical Rescue's footage) has returned with 2Xtreme Racing on the Iron Outlaw chassis, and I believe Triple B is planning on reviving Carolina Crusher soon. I wish Backwards Bob would come back, though. Good compilation overall.
@@MJFanatic Hey, it happens with both actual images and looking at in-game counterparts. In MTM2 screenshots I mistook Firestone Wilderness for Gunslinger more times than I care to admit.
The Original Creator of Tropical Thunder (Wayne Smozanek) passed away early this year from Covid. Another Truck to add to this list, maybe, would be Scott Hartsock's GunSlinger. Scott was killed late lastyear during a Towing Accident. His Hauler had broken down and was being towed to a show in a rural part of, Mississippi or Louisiana when the towtruck crossed an unmarked Railroad crossing and was struck by a train.
I grew up playing Monster Truck Madness 2 on Windows 98. While I wasn't really a wrestling fan, I still thought the WCW trucks were cool. I miss Boogey Van! 😢 Also had a 1:24 scale El Diablo truck Wow several trucks I thought where still competing have gone away. 😕
Still miss the days they’d jump a bus and destroy a boat. Now they don’t even do that. Just jump the same ramp, smh. Just like their games which were better the older they were.
been some time since ive watched monster jam, sad to see monster mutt and bulldozer not in it anymore they where some of my favourites when i was young
Wait i just realize some of the retired tucks are gonig to reutrn turn in monster jam soon and bull dozer is one 9f them along wtth capatains cure and a few others others go see one of monster talks videos it may take a whipe t9 find so good luck
Wow I bought my boy a bunch of used monster truck, he really likes them and I thought many were generic or just hot wheels make believe but here they are. Pretty cool can’t wait to show him this
I still have the miniature blacksmith, tropical thunder, a different version of the destroyer. Bulldozer, and the crusader. I would spend hours playing with them and seeing these guys retired definitely sits different.
Team mentis/Goldberg truck just changed the name to Max-d it's not retired as for most of the specialized trucks just ties in to movies or franchise though surprised the batmobile one wasn't listed
I think theyre going to a back seat i mean blue thunder is returning and long with monster mutt and dragon which maybe why they retire but still i think the contract for disel brothers is taking a break or they are making a new truck for diesel brothers i mean it could be a truck they are planning to ride
I think last time I followed monster Jam was world finals 10 or 11 right before I left for college. I miss the crazy neon green cyborg truck. Also Escalade was such a cool truck. I got to meet George at one of the world finals. He was one of the chilliest dudes. I know I have a poster signed by a lot of drivers from world finals 8 or something. Maybe I'll go to an event this year.
