I noticed that none of the DLC trucks, the ones released this week or the launch DLC are used by the AI in any of the single player modes. Has anyone seen any? I play mostly the circuit racing and have yet to play against Backwards Bob, Neo Police, Black Pearl etc. only if you pick them do they show up

Nope, no DLC trucks, and no liveries are ever used by the AI... I wish they would.

You know what’s weird? So far the only trucks that don’t have announcements by a commentator are NEA, Max-D Classic, Captain’s Curse and Big Kahuna. Only Backwards Bob, Black Ops and Black Pearl have them so far.

So if you watch actual world finals at Nashville when they did it, and this is when ever Cole Venard change his body from a regular Chevrolet molded body to an old school body he actually did that to making fun of him because the year prior he did that to Adam Anderson or whatever to make fun of him as well so it’s not the first time he’s ever done something like that or he’s actually put someone’s face on the rear bumper of his truck and Does it just because because he actually does it for to making fun of someone just ha ha funny. But I did play this DLC last night and I thought it was pretty awesome.

Fun fact: The Classic Blue Thunder Livery does not have the present day Monster Jam logo on its side. And no other truck has this.

This DLC is really good! I played it myself, and I can’t even go back to the original trucks anymore lol yes, it has its flaws but I’m genuinely OK with that. I still think it’s a great DLC

This is part of the Soldiers and Pirates DLC, if you go to the shop in game you should be able to buy it.

That's a good thought, but there are a lot of trucks that dove-tail the back end, brodozer, Sparkle Smash, even the Marvel trucks. It seems all the new trucks have a dovetailed design.

If you have the season pass purchased you will have to manually download the DLC's on consoles. I play on PC so it it automatically activated for me. Sorry I wish I could help you more!

@thebestpodcastuwilleversee7256 I play in PS5. I purchased the version with the season pass and DLC. On PS5, you need to download the content manually. Which is literally just pushing the button.

Honestly love it hate that Black Pearl is current Black Pearl but what can you do? Also completed the game so now I gotta wait for the Hawaiian expansion in December now…

Yeah, I do wish they were able to put a few of the other body styles for Black Pearl in there, but the way the livery system works, it wouldn't have happened unfortunately. Still, it's nice to get what we got!

Project Rod Rod and Heavy Metal Monsters are both "semi-realistic" leagues in Showdown. They can only do so much with the physics of the game and all.

I definitely think Captain's Curse is the best in this pack. It's honestly probably one of the best looking in the game and an all time favorite obviously for fans.
