@@letsrock12345 monster magnet is one of the greatest bands ever period. Only 2nd too and barely too Led Zeppelin. If you don't believe me then accidentally eat some 8 times more powerful mushrooms than what you thought you were eating. then just so happen to be working on a one man band version of black balloon on your looper when the mushrooms hit you like a Mack Truck. Then dead Christmas comes on after black balloon is over and then by the end of that song you realize monster magnet are lyrical geniuses. Then the song Take It comes on. 😂my world and life will never feel the same. MM and mushrooms are the best experiences I ever had.
@@letsrock12345 I listened to damn near it all. I've always like a few songs since about 99 or 2000 when I first heard them but little by little until the cosmic tapestry tied them to my brain . I've always liked their guitar work and style so it makes sense I would like most all their stuff. Love 19 witches . Mindless ones black balloon and blow em off. Love let the circus burn. I'm calling you. Too bad. You can probably hear a similarities in those songs along and totally understand my obsession. I been recreating some of those by myself and my looper and pile of reverb and echos and delay pedals. Lol. I live alone and when I'm off work I play guitar. I'm 48 so I don't go out and party anymore

What can we say to parental control but 🎶 space lord mother fucker 🎶🎯 - the music is waaaay more important than the lyrics to me. I love Guns n Roses song One in a million but I'll never support the lyrics of that particular song ( even though one my favorites )
This dude has the unique ability write some really dark content and put killer hook to it and you don’t even realize he’s talking about dumping a baby in a landfill and rising up from the depths..damn that’s some mad evil skill right there..
A little room on 7th street is getting cold And secrets ain't like *mescaline* They don't get old I saw a pattern on a blanket just the other day It looked just like the pillow you threw away You were like a zombie When you told me what you did that day And I drove out to the meadow lands To throw *our baby* away What time and snow couldn't bury Years of forgotten guilt That little body's calling, rising up From under a Jersey landfill I just woke up the other night And now I know what to do I guess I'll see you in hell A creature's waitin' for a battle in the ancient swamp Your pissing on the pyramids Ain't gonna move things along So pack your scars and your makeup And give your money to the poor 'cause you'll be riding a twenty gauged ticket Into reality's door I just woke up the other night And now I know what to do I just woke up the other night girl And now I know what to do I guess I'll see you in hell The TV's gone and you've been *huffin' on paint* And your punk rock band still sucks anyway I was talking to Jesus through a hole in the floor He said our time is up, we can't stay anymore No more A little room on 7th street is getting cold And secrets ain't like mescaline They don't get old I saw a pattern on a blanket just the other day It looked just like the pillow you threw away I just woke up the other night And now I know what to do I just woke up the other night girl And now I know what to do I guess I'll see you in hell
Thank you Vevo, if not for your censorship I'd run to the 24-hour Walmart right now to get some paint to huff. The organ and bass take this song from good to great.
Walk softly carry a big stack, turn 5s into dimes ,and we want to be underestimated a void where the healthy amount of fear would be rendered into respect.Sugary counterpunchers
I was on a film shoot at the jersey shore.. Zombie honeymoon. I met Dave at a dive bar.. Hung out wirh him for a few hours drinking beer. Hes the real deal. His advice to me as it was my first movie... Was, " Just be your self".. Even in your role, just be your self... Interesting.
The first time I experienced this was with Whitey ford "what its like" song. They bleeped "SMOKED" and "GREEN" and a few other innocent words. Orwells 1984 indeed.
