I had to make some teeth for a witch makeup I'm doing soon so I decided to give you guys an overview of how I make these quick teeth. I normally make teeth a bit different than this but I took out a few steps and tried to keep it as simple as possible. I know I dont do the best voicing over the videos so feel freely to ask me anything!

Wow mam you are following the channel too 😃. You are my inspiration to drive me too crazy to get involve into the prosthetic makeup industry in a country where i found no institute is for the prosthetic makeup 💜. But nowadays I am realise I am just 1step close to win .

The silicone positive was brilliant! First time I've seen it done this way. Although I'm worried that it being soft, the clay might be a pain to form the teeth on. But releasing acrylics from plaster can be more of a pain, no matter how much release is used. So I'm gonna see how my gel-25 stiffins up with some poly fibers. Anyways... Awesome tutorials man. Keep them coming!

Nice video!! I also make teeth for people..i just do it a little different with the casting part! I sculp the teeth then cast them with acrylic sand them down put them back on the stone positive sculp gums around them ..cast the whole thing again..put individual teeth into the negative and cast gums with the punk gum acrylic..then add final details!!

put them back on the stone positive sculp gums around them ..cast the whole thing again. Instead of casting again, take some silicone putty and make yourself a snap mold of the sculpted gums. You can them take a bur and remove any silicone where the teeth are leaving the gum with a finishing line around the teeth. Cast your pink acrylic and use the snap mold to create your gum lime. You can use a soft brush moistened in monomer to finish the acrylic at the base of the teeth.

I am a new self-taught make-up/sfx artist and I have two big projects I am doing at same time. The director I am working with is filming a movie for theater's and the same film is going to be in play form later this year. We are in the middle of filming now. I wanted to ask you if I wanted to make a set of Gold teeth. There is so much to learn, but so you have a full length video on how to make teeth from scratch?

One thing i would be concerned about.Even though the silicone is cured, there is still outgassing of silicone oil and ethanol.If you use a platinum cure, you shouldn't have to worry about it.Brick in the yard has a series of different platinum cure silicones that would fit the bill.

I really loved watching this! I'm sorry if this question seems a little dumb, but I'm just wondering why you didn't just use the hard copy of the positive of the teeth for creating the prosthetic instead of creating a silicone one. I guess silicone is more flexible, but is it necessary?

HayzStrawberry the acrylic teeth could bond to the stone teeth if you don't make the silicone positive.. and like I said at the end of the video because its hard acrlic the teeth could lock onto the stone positive and you'll never get it off if you do it that way

You can also use acrylic seperator fluid, or vaseline works perfect if you need to make it faster, and save some material. there are also other flexible materials you can use instaed of silicone that you can reuse... go to a dental lab, to see what materials they use.. I´m a dental tech.

Hey Sidney! Great video! I have a couple quick questions for you--first, did PPI discontinue that tooth palette? It looks amazing but I can't seem to find it! Also, is Kryolan Clear Coat food safe? You've never had issues with that? Thank you in advance!
