I personally like aluminium just because you can be a bit rougher with it and the options when it comes to customising it, but glass boats have their advantages as well. The tiller is great as it gives you a lot of deck space and a soft ride as your sitting right down the back of the boat but it’s not as nice to hold onto compared to a steering wheel. If I was to build a console boat it would be centre rear console but I would want the console to be small so it didn’t take up to much space and make my casting deck a bit longer maybe 2m long, but that’s just my preference lol
